Though they laughed I tried again

Sorry but retake your seat
You left out the letter ‘G’
And we don’t take apostrophes

Heard snickering till we were done
I was dejected on our way home
Gramma - Grampa didn’t mind
They said be proud that I had tried

And to shake my misery
Think of all the fun there’d be
Doing stuff with apostrophes
