o•rbyss aims to help soothe the queer spectrum and focus on the well-being of the community. Queer DJs are invited to submit a mix to showcase an alternative side to their music library outside of a rave and take us on a meditative journey. ✨

Notes on the mix:

This mix was recorded at the o•rbyss Queer Ambient Sauna session at Sauna Social Club in Peckham on 4th January 2025. Dive into 4 hours of warm, cosy vibes from ambient and downtempo to trance, breaks and trip-hop. 

FAFF -  Elliott & Orny are the duo behind BDE Records and one of the most exciting acts to have burst onto the scene within the last few years. Their unique and exciting style spans across club music genres, and has earned them spots playing at Field Manuevers, UNFOLD, Fabric and Draaimolen festival. FAFF’s production talent is also clear with their most recent releases on Ec2a’s Unit 6 & Fabric Records, they harness dreamlike synths and unique samples to create a genre-bending sound that can be truly said to be their own.

Producers like Lowbass Djy, Buzkin Keyz, Hotfurze, and Jazza MusiQ all represent a constant flow of Ama that, from where I stand, is on the periphery in the best ways right now. This is just a little personal jumping off point into the constant stream of absolute heater tracks these and adjacent artists are churning out. Enjoy!
