Mental Lee is a love song about not being able to maintain a sustainable, sound connection with a loved one either because of restlessness or a malfunction. The spirit of a ghost in prison down the road refers to that fact. The hope is that – in the end – love will make all human malfunctions disappear into thin air.

Ask the Dust is a love song and a remote cousin to Mad Loved Ones. In a raving, weeping manner, it attempts to address a lost world leaving only blood stains behind. It also suggests that the line between life and death is ever so subtle.

Mistress of Fortune is a love song that springs from the readings of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In the forest the fairies play tricks on the lovers. It takes place somewhere between dream and reality.

Mad Loved Ones is a love song about a dark and stormy relationship. It contains reminiscences of a time gone by. Even friend’s good intentions and advice are not taken into consideration. It is a marriage made in the grave; a relationship meant to die from the very beginning. It is about eager lust and not being able to hold back. Is it about wrongdoings in a wicked world and in line with the forces of a cursed love eternity awaits at the end of the hall.

Papa’s Liquor Tore is a love song about a drunkard peasant who abuses his wife. He has visons of all kind of biblical figures. Instead of trying to solve his problems rationally, he displaces them by drinking violently and thus amplifies the problems so much that they become unsolvable. It is a remote cousin to Jeppe on the Hill.

When Tenderloud releases their third album “Ain’t God Flying Low” within the year of 2021 it will mark a 20th anniversary!

Copenhagen 2001. Tenderloud has quickly become a favorite underground band on the alternative country rock scene with their explosive concerts. Especially Uffe Bang's dark and sexy stage performance draws a clear line to the late 1970s punk scene. The band is inspired by the newer nordic scene among others Norwegian Madrugada and Ricochets - and perhaps especially by the American Denver scene with bands like 16 Horsepower, Denver Gentlemen and Slim Cesna’s Auto Club. It is here in this diverse cross land that Tenderloud finds its nerve and a community of spirit and a suadade that without a doubt has a big impact in the early years...!

After more than a decade of absence from the danish and european rock scene, Tenderloud rises from the dust and reinvent their sound and expression in a completely new and more uncompromising version of themselves.

For the past two years, the band has been working on new material for their third full-length studio album, Ain’t God Flying Low. And at the time of writing, Kellermensch frontman Sebastian Wolff, who is producing the upcoming release, is putting the finishing touches on the record.

In the music you will find young desperados, the wild at heart, quiet men balancing between beauty and heartbreak, sunshine and melancholia.
Since forming, Tenderloud has established themselves as one of the most exciting live acts on the Copenhagen rock scene until the band split back in 2007. Now they’re back… and they sound more fit than ever.
