El ácido (Uno)

Sapphist Eye navigates eclectic electronic musical universes to create its
own: percussive, powerful, sometimes dark, sometimes colorful, in search
of emotion and depth.
As a producer, it all began in 2023 when her track “Exist Everywhere” was
selected for inclusion in the 2nd compilation of the lesbian collective
Barbi(e)turix, featuring 18 artists and sponsored by CHLOE. Shortly
afterwards, she signed her first duet EP with Naominitel on the French
label Les Disques du Lobby, followed by her first solo EP ‘Another Side’,
released in February 2024 on Lumière Noire Records. In 2025, two EPs
added to her sound signature: ‘Idol Spell’ on Nein Records and
‘Mutate+Back’ on Lumière Noire Records.

Recently, driven by a burning passion for electronic music, Dalidark has finally dared to step out of the shadows and into the spotlight.

The artist likes to describe her sets as “premeditated artistic accidents”—carefully curated, yet charged with instinct and emotion. They fuse pounding industrial beats with melancholic synth textures, where duality is queen: hypnotic EBM and dark disco rhythms meet the languid seduction of Italo disco, all wrapped in a dusky synthwave glow.

This week, I delved into the Grain Delay filter of Ableton‘s Live 12. While the difference from last week again seems minimal, Grain Delay offers quite different possibilities compared to Filter Delay. I must admit that I haven't spent enough time exploring the full potential of the filter. In WAV52 | 45, I have only used the filter in seven out of ten track bars. However, most of my time is spent composing music. This weeks scale is C Super Locrian. And it seems that this scale is particularly used in jazz and fusion music for improvisation and composing.
