DJ Kaos’ Disco Landmark mix CD for A1 Records receives a much welcome reissue treatment. Originally mixed in 2003 for legendary NYC record store A1 Records, East Village (“Can't imagine a better record store in Manhattan… one of the best record stores in the world“ - The Vinyl Factory), the mix was recorded from DJ Kaos’ very own vinyl collection, and given away as part of a NYC disco promotional campaign.

Teniente tells us the inspiration for the mix came from his early years discovering music, with a desire to incorporate sounds from back then with fresh, upfront and unreleased club cuts which he pulls off with great style here. Watch out for the next releases on his great Play Pal Music imprint, and his own unique 'Dancing Below 100BPM' mix series is well worth following.

A highly respected purveyor of the finest music money can’t buy, professional beat-raconteur and upstanding member of the disco dance music community, Mr Sean Johnston creates ethereal sonic landscapes both in his productions and behind the decks of any dance floor.  Sean's productions as Hardway Bros have graced many of our go-to labels, most recently hot New York label Throne of Blood. He is an in-demand remixer, having reworked artists such as Alien Alien, The Asphodells, Haules Baules, Craig Bratley and Ajello. It is with great pleasure that our favourite number is taken up with this mans music! Vol. 23 of Hostage Radio is now live!!
