This record is more of a checkpoint for context than it is a traditional rap song with no hook. 

I think songs like this are important because they can give answers to some questions about the artist and give insight into how they are thinking and help with comprehension of the art itself.

For this song, I wanted to focus on the groove and how the production would build as the verse provided more and more context for unspoken questions.
As the song goes through its progression, there are more and things that get added and the small change in harmony about halfway through provides a nice change of scenery before it goes back to driving to the end.
