Hi! Back from being trapped in Twitterworld to share this, since I've got IA ENGLISH AI.

No mixing done whatsoever, I promise you... just exported from both the CS7 & AI versions of CeVIO, and hopefully it'll give some folks a better idea just how vast of a jump between the two versions are sound-wise.

I'm having a few technical problems editing right now, and hopefully I'll either narrow it down or wait until the next program update for fixes to happen... but I'm working on a few projects for both late this December and next year. (Naturally one is for ARIAversary, so yeah...)

I absolutely plan on getting both the JPN vocals for IA & ONE once finances allow. The more I listen in with songs & tests, the more I'm excited to try my hand with what I can do as well. It takes some getting used to transitioning from IA's V3 banks, though... but she does sound way more Lia-like through CeVIO AI.

Been a little while since my last upload... (*sigh*) I'm not liking the fact I lost a total of 3 cover songs I uploaded due to the system here, so I may be migrating to another medium if it happens again. While I understand the copyright issues... well... it also feels like a slap in the face when I put a lot of effort into tuning a VOCALOID for a song and I'm not allowed to share it. It really sucks... I mean, yeah, it's possible for me to make re-arrangements of the instrumentals via MIDI/DAW, but doing that way, it'll take me even longer to get any sort of works out. (Seriously, I'm STILL working on the composition of some of my original works after almost 2 years, so I might as well make that statement "covers that will never get done" instead.)

Anyways, I'm hoping I'll at least get a few more things uploaded while I'm on break... probably going to do more playing around with CD now that I've pretty much studied the English phonemes for the past two weeks or so. (^-^)

Spent all day finishing this one up. Not sure if I'm going to put on YT yet, since I can't really find a fitting image to use for this song... nor am I having an easy time making my own. (I'm so out of practice with drawing.) (>///<)

It took a good amount of work to get Akira sounding as smooth as he does in this cover, especially the "la la la" parts. The best trick I've found was making him say "ran ran ran" on the shorter "la's". I also noticed with XSY to his Bright bank, he gets even choppier on certain long notes, so I kind of avoided using that parameter throughout the entire duration of notes because of that. He's not bad, but could definitely use some improvement on what's supposed to be one of his key features. 

... I could never find who is the original creator of the MIDI base I used for the BG, but to whomever made this, I extend a HUGE amount of appreciation! I heard this file 10 years ago before I finally found and checked out "Long Vacation" to discover the original song about 3 or so years ago(as well as developed a new-found undying love for Toshinobu Kubota's music).

Also hoping SC isn't going to be stupid and flag this just because. If that's the case, I more than likely will be establishing an account on TMBox and hosting the covers I already lost to this site over there.

You all just don't realize how happy this makes me to finally be able to have this song out and sounding this decent. CeVIO is my new best friend.

Used IA ENGLISH C Powerful 1.0.0. (TBH, there's not much of a difference between the banks other than how vowel phonemes are pronounced when timing is altered, but Powerful does have a much needed kick. Tried the beta, it screeched at me sadly w/ my tuning, but maybe next time.)

You can find the Japanese version of this in my playlist, but seeing as how it's crudilly mixed, I plan on redoing that in the near future... probably whenever I can get a YouTube version for both going.

*THIS* is what the song was supposed to sound like from day one. IA ENGLISH saved its integrity by pushing me to push the limits of everything. Bless you, 1st Place & Lia for this. 

I had intentions of putting it with the original MMD AVI file I did for the Japanese version, but RIP... it's gone. I'm heartbroken. (TAT) So this might be uploaded on YT with an ASV overlayed on the title picture instead... because I'm missing a LOT of files I thought got transfered from my old laptop & didn't make it onto my external...

Anyways, I hope the mixing sounds decent. Still experimenting. Used the Stereo Separator VST this go around to see, and it does give it a bit more shape now.

I'll post lyrics later, but I want to see just how understandable it is for you all first. Please enjoy!

1. To those complaining about IA's choppiness/sock in mouth moments & using that as an excuse not to use her: 

Please, for all that is blessed & holy... 

***EDIT THE TIMING (TMG) PARAMETER***

Pass on the word, save a life. She CAN sing lyrics clearly if you play around with those thousands of purple lines long enough. (It's actually 2 pink lines & 4 purple lines in between them for each note, but for those of us with bad eyesight, what does that matter...?)

The lines closest to the pink lines are the ones you want to look at for smoother connections. Push them & the pink lines together.

The lines in the middle literally give you extended pronunciation options. Tired of hearing "gone" as "gwuane"? Stretch & pull till you get it sounding the way you want it.

2. I have lost EVERY bit of the files I had created this year, from December up until last month due to Microsoft's inability to make hardware that's actually fixable. (Read as they threw my doggone tablet away & sent me a new one. Had I a bit of better judgement in my panic on top of having the funds to back up my stuff from a tablet with a potentially splody battery, things would be different. That part I take full blame for... but it still blows my mind how all that money & time I put into that thing & they just... threw it away...)

Still in the process of getting my bearings through all this. I'm hoping to be a little bit more productive come next month. But any files I had intended to release will have to be recreated from scratch, so please bear with me just a little longer. (; - ;)
