Trench Warfare is a Lithuanian artist who started his journey with music in 2020 after the first lockdown happened. While everyone’s normal life was restricted and everyone had to stay at home, his love for dark, industrial music started. He fell in love with the dark, deep sound that industrial - rhytmic noise, industrial and hypnotic techno provides and thats what inspired him to start DJ’ing - to create his unique sound and to show people that there is a darker, full of broken beats and industrial sounds side of music rather than 4x4 hard techno/ shranz music that most local events are filled with.

Trench Warfare to litewski artysta, który swoją przygodę z muzyką rozpoczął w 2020 roku po pierwszym lockdownie. Podczas gdy normalne życie wszystkich było ograniczone i wszyscy musieli siedzieć w domu, zaczęła się jego miłość do mrocznej, industrialnej muzyki. Zakochał się w surowym , głębokim brzmieniu, które zapewnia industrial - rytmiczny hałas, industrialne i hipnotyczne techno. To zainspirowało go do rozpoczęcia pracy jako DJ - do stworzenia swojego unikalnego brzmienia i pokazania ludziom, że istnieje mroczniejsza, pełna połamanych beatów i industrialnych dźwięków strona muzyki, a nie tylko muzyka 4x4 hard techno/ shranz, którą wypełnia większość lokalnych imprez.

It’s been a while since I uploaded music to my Soundcloud. Last weekend I played the opening set at Unfold XXXI and had so much fun - it is hard for me to put it into the words. 

Opening slots are so important - they are the seeds that enable events to flourish. They are the first contact - the welcome to the dance floor that sets the tone for what will follow. They are the first dance. 

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed crafting it.

Merlina Maiello, aka Merlina, dió sus primeros pasos en la música  como raver de la escena underground, donde también organizó diversidad de eventos. Es en este circuito que comienza a interiorizarse con la música electrónica en distintos estilos del techno. Dedicando los últimos años a nutrirse como artista, formándose como DJ y actualmente como productora musical, donde continúa incorporando sonidos de distintos estilos, toma su principal influencia de artistas como Pfirter, Oscar Mulero, Setaoc Mass, Lady Machine, Tripeo, Michel Lauriola, entre otrxs. Creando así sesiones con groove mental.

Colin Tobelem is a Berlin based French-American composer, producer and sound healer who crafts experimentally inclined ambient and techno as Icon Template, Ground Tactics and Hermetic Particle. 
His productions integrate cyberpunk influences into the primitivist industrial flair of power electronics.

Although Icon Template is wild, unadulterated modular techno, it is permeated by an introspective quality, "it's something like an urban guerrilla where music symbolises the fundamental life force that refuses to be put down" Tobelem stated.

An idiosyncratic approach which anchors subversive samples and hard-driving percussive elements into warm analog synth lines, ultimately providing epic, mind-warping bangers from which a form of lucid, subtly political poetry emerges.
