22-4 - Traditional a. Pochon - Sally In Our Alley

I was gathering some ideas for my second string quartet when, having laid my hands on the piano, the magic happened again.

After few weeks I was in Gran Canaria, and while studying negative harmony I had an idea on how to develop the B part of the piece, and the last repetition of the A one.

While this piece eventually will be developed as the third movement of the string quartet, I've decided to publish it in this original, simple piano version mainly for students and amateurs wishing to play something simple but still effective.

Rhapsody (Concertino) for strings & Trumpet!!!!

Dedicated to my Dear Sister: Odette Lavie

Originally inspired by Tchaikovsky 5th Symphony's slow movement, as I tried to duplicate the first chords on my Piano, somehow I drifted far away into a full composition for lasted about 2 months.

Although I enjoyed the first subject and it's variations on the Trumpet, I later discovered a much more enjoyable continuation (Starting at minute 4:24, all the way to the end) and ending to the piece.  I hope you enjoy it.

23-6 - Debussy a. Caplet - Clair de Lune (Extract from the "Suite Bergamasque")

This is the first release of the original version of Evie's Song that I dedicate to my beautiful wife.

This version is a relatively simple piano piece that I developed and played on the piano.  From this music I composed a more complicated piano work that Liz Dicker (https://soundcloud.com/liz-dicker) so kindly performed. Evie's Song

I waded into virtual orchestration about 2013, with the intent of composing.  I started programming recordings of other's compositions and have been loving it.  I'm committed to perfecting my craft and I enjoy especially recording music by late nineteenth and early twentieth century English composers.  Something about the music of that time and place speaks to me...  

I also arrange and record strings in collaboration with other artists and songwriters.  Always fun!
