Next up on Tensnake's True Romance is a 2-hit combo from Egyptian born n 'Spanish youngster Paul Rudder glides into the True Romance catalogue with ease, fitting in neatly with a slice of euphoric, sophisticated House. With previous releases on Bristol label Shall Not Fade, Berg Audio and Exploited - Rudder has an ear for a sunny groove and his 'Nostalgic Feelings' single is exactly that. 

A buttery piano glazes the track while joyful vocals ring out. Sweeps, twinkles and flecks of sunlit FX adorn the top end while jacking drums and a boxing bass line maintain a bubbly vibe throughout. This is a perfect match of artist and label with Rudder and True Romance coming together in a cheery embrace.

'Next up on True Romance; an accomplished and distinctly humid 3-tracker from mysterious Cécille-affiliated producer Cabin Luv Affair.

‘Un' Altra Persona' kicks gets things off to a hedonic start. A broad-shouldered balearic groove is deftly decorated with piano chords, blues guitar licks and organs that are set rebounding off one another while a rounded bass line carries an infectious momentum.

'You Know What Is This' follows up with another zesty vibe as soft, glowing keys spread like butter over a bustling Chicago-tinged bass line. Sensual vocals and reverberated guitar lines conjure images of Café del Mar and crimson horizons before 'I'm Sure That's Another Dimension' dims the lights and rounds the record off.

Right from the off, a deeper, more smokey mood is dialled as a muscular kick takes the limelight. Jazzy piano lines and breezy synth riffs pour drops of colour over a moonlit foundation bringing a classy batch of tracks to a close.'

Across releases on Symphonic, Disco Motion and NDYD, Dynamique has honed a refined poolside vibe characterised predominantly by truncated Funk loops and bright, sturdy drums.

'Dance 4 Love' rolls out this trope beautifully as a short, snappy bass line bumps under full swing strings and rapturous little snapshots of vocal.

Loops are stretched and contracted and punctuated by short breaks that work to maintain a sense of giddy vibrancy that will no doubt resonate across the final weeks of summer.'

Between doing a remix with Salt’n Pepa’s original 16-track tapes of ‘Push it’, classical training at a conservatory, playing 5 instruments, founding, releasing records and touring with Indie pop band ‘The Jeremy Days’ in the 80’s, experiencing first hand the birth of acid house, rave and progressive techno, while living in London and Germany in the 90’s, you could certainly say Triggerstrøm has a wealth of experience.

Ask him why that matters in terms of his work as a DJ and you’ll get an answer like: "Because it helps to understand oneself and, with that, the people you play for - oh, and because it is actually a blast!”

Deftly balancing a challenging, yet highly intuitive eclecticism, his live sets are founded in House, Nu-Disco, Afrobeats, IDM, Electronica and Progressive House.

“When I go out to dance, I am hungry” he explains, “hungry for love, freedom, movement and inspiration. If the music of that night feeds some of those cravings and with that those of the audience and listener, I consider it a great night"

His all time fave car that he owned was a white 1979 SAAB 900S and also the same color coded ADIDAS basketball sneakers that matched it. 
He fears the depths of the oceans as much as he finds humor in awkward situations due to cultural differences. 
The less-is-more approach to food, music, architecture and design turns him on. 

Bulgarian-born, raised in Germany. Resident the past 10 years in Los Angeles, via London, NYC and Miami. Played the legendary Golden Pudel in Hamburg and also entertains private events. 

Triggerstrøm is currently resident DJ at Bar Stella in Silver Lake, Los Angeles
