Life comes at us in waves of emotional energy, constantly pushing the boundaries on how much our brains can process. Although we ride the highs and lows of human existence every day, our ability to express emotion is frequently suppressed and replaced with the busy lives we live.  Today‘s release takes a step outside the daily agenda and replaces it with a true reflection of artistic expression courtesy of our buddy, TYLERWITHTHE. 

Previously features on BLC projects like ‘Ego Trip’ and ‘Ruminate’, TYLERWITHTHE never fails to bring something absolutely original to the table. Finding a home in the bass category, the dude has no bounds to his productions. His work ethic and ability to create quickly allows him to take advantage of every moment within a track and create soundscapes that live up to their full potential.

Freedom to express emotion is a key piece to human existence and we see bad luck as the driver allowing this emotion to flow. We feel honored to work with talented individuals like TYLERWITHTHE as we continue to uncover the countless creative paths music can take us down. With drastic changes occurring in all of our lives, it can be easy to drift away from usual routines and get caught up in the wandering thoughts of our mind. Through these wandering thoughts come ideas of inspiration, moments of reflection and a consideration of emotional ties to events. Working with our friend [fab.] for the first time, we couldn't have picked a better artist to represent these wandering thoughts intertwined with bad luck.

Representing sunny Orlando, Florida, [fab.] is on the rise within the underground bass music community pushing a special combination of dubby, left field sounds. Not only does he veer far from traditional song arrangements but goes the extra mile to create a cohesive project in every release he puts out. 

"pelle" is a beautiful example of taking an idea and expanding on it to teleport the listener to another place all together. From the moment you press play, it's apparent how much time and energy went into making "pelle" feel like a complete project as it dynamically twists and turns through your eardrums. With so much talent wrapped up into this artistic endeavor one thing is clear, [fab.] is on the rise and here to stay.

There's nothing like a fresh perspective of bad luck to get your day moving in the right direction. Today's release is the final product of artists pushing themselves outside the box to create something familiar but completely new. Remixing Schoolboy Q's hit single "Numb Numb Juice", Spike Right made a splash in the underground bass community about a year ago. Pulling inspiration from a fellow New Yorker, Office Parti hopped on the track and gave it a proper flip, showcasing his creativity and production chops as an up and coming artist.

Taking a remix and making it your own can be a challenging task to really differentiate from the original and communicate a brand new idea. Office Parti took it and ran with it, making a statement with a unique take on sound design and carefully placed sub bass to give it some character. The end result is a project that carries energy beautifully from start to finish, recreating a classic with a special Office Parti twist. Meet you at the water cooler?
