Anderdox, I'm pleased to be introduced to your sound... This label never gets it wrong!

It's 2021 and we're back in action, with MFR010 welcoming new prospect bensXn ( @bensxn ) to the Manipulated catalog with his two track EP entitled 'Bank of Friendship', also including a remix from MF label head honcho Shane Mahon ( @shanemahon )

Fascinated with electronic music since childhood, bensXn is a producer hailing from London town. His speciality is in house music but he derives a lot of influences from other electronic genres in the quest to create something different.

Getting into music technology through his father (who helped to show him how the programs worked), bensXn proceeded to go through music college and university so as to gain a deeper understanding of the subject; all the while, experimenting with making beats of his own.

Bank of Friendship: Straight off the bat, bensXn serves us a club-ready roller: to say the least! This lead track truly glues the bond of rolling tech and the euphoric feeling that only a good rave can bring, with his high-end progression. and FX splishin' n' splashin', this beat will transport you to the next stratosphere.

Winsome: A great addition to the release, packed with Euphoric melodies and lively drum movement. bensXn displays his sound in clear as day, vibrant colour!

Bank of Friendship (Shane Mahon Remix): The MF boss hops on board the bensXn express, adding his signature glitch-full kiss to the lead track of the EP. An additional vocal to accompany the remix, bouncing drums and solid bassline further cement his touch on the first MF EP of 2021!

We're beyond happy to share with you guys EP #12, this time round we're very happy to welcome back @anderdoxmusic to the label for 2 original records alongside 2 equally solid remixes. Listeners with an eagle eye may recognise Anderdox from our 2020 all-stars VA that dropped in December, which featured a collab between themselves and regulars at the Ō, @denzodrogs ☄️

Anderdox have been busy over the past year, using lockdown to perfect their craft and better themselves as producers, whilst maybe also throwing a party or two with their brand @subrotterdam 👀.

At A1, we've got 'Get Away', a certified roller packed with tight percussion and a euphoric vocal that would sound just as at home in a filthy basement setting as it would at a stunning summer garden party☀️
For B1, Anderdox have provided the perfect example of a summer banger, 'Higher', which follows a similar theme to A1 with a strong rolling bassline, but finds itself through a perfect combination of eclectic and atmospheric synths and stabs 🧨

On remix duties we welcome tento OG's Denzo & Drogs, it's a a pleasure to have them back on board and they deliver as always with their remix of 'Get Away', featuring their signature percussion full of attitude and a bouncy alternative to Anderdox's dark rolling basslines 💨
We are also gassed to welcome a fresh face to the roster in @willdavies! Will is a promising new producer that has been on the events circuit for a little while now, being the driving force behind the highly respectable @wonkysessions, having supported some of the biggest names in the game🙌
His remix of 'higher' perfectly rounds the EP off, covering a slightly darker approach to the contrastingly bright vocals featured in the original cut 🌅

Anderdox - Get Away (Original Mix)

It’s been a couple of weeks but we’re back tonight with a brand new brand 5x track EP from our very own @1906sounds with 3 original tracks from the man himself and two whopping remixes that each add their own flavour to this delicious EP🍦

Since his last release with us in January, 1906 (UK) has been a busy man! Working tirelessly to continue developing his craft and perfecting his sound which shines through in this EP, all whilst continuing to manage the TENTŌ label with ourselves - so it’s great to see this come together to make a sheller of a release 💣 

Kicking off with A1, ‘Mission CTRL’ takes you on a journey through space with it’s unique sample, hypnotic pads and a driving bassline to accompany you on your trip 🚀 
For B1 we have ‘TranZition’; built around a familiar vocal how you’ve never heard before. It’s sharp percussion and atmospheric synths combine to make a stomper of a beat you just have to flick that wrist to 🤌
Lastly for the originals we have ‘6am in Bank’, a name inspired by one of our favourite raves we’ve played! It’s moody bassline, robotic FX and soothing vocal will leave you lost in the music not wanting to be found…

We welcome aboard @ashley-231969887 and @jackwalkerdj for remix duties and it’s clear to see why! Ashley is up first with his remix of ‘Mission CTRL’, adding a more mechanical sound with whacky textures and entrancing pads🔧 
Last up is Jack Walker with his high-tempo remix of ‘TranZition’, scratching that itch for a deep bassline and adding a garage feel with some signature FX that will have you skanking through the evening far into the night 🌃
