It’s that time of the week again where release day is upon us, and joining us this week are French duo @shortcutcrew, back on board after their last release with us back in 2021, however this time the boys are hopping on the edit series and boyyy aren’t we all in for a treat…

Whilst smashing production, these boys have been keeping themselves busy with their own record label @outdom, on top of also throwing mad parties in their hometown🇫🇷 

As soon as we heard Shortcut’s spin on this Vince Staples anthem we knew we had to get it out there🔥 this track is nothing but NRG - a driving bassline with an organ lead makes the body of this belter, whilst paddy breakdowns create an atmosphere that transports you to those 3am moments in the rave😎

Black Fancy makes his Hottrax debut this July with ‘M.M.M.’. 

A longstanding resident for Insane Event in his hometown of Parma, Black Fancy’s groovy rhythms have taken trips on labels such as Suara, Deeperfect and Whoyostro. For his next voyage, the Italian DJ and producer sets sail on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with his funky two-tracker ‘M.M.M.’. 

Pumping basslines, energetic stabs and playful rap samples fuel the driving lead track ‘M.M.M.’, before electronic bleeps, loopy lyrics and snaking percussion combine over vibrating low-ends in the zesty finale ‘No Stoppin’’. 

Black Fancy ‘M.M.M.’ drops via Hottrax on 1st July 2022.

Seb Zito is no stranger to delivering club-ready hits. He brings his fire to Hot Creations this March, marking his inaugural release on the label. 

“I wanted to incorporate the tech elements from the Fuse sound and combine it with the acid style of Hot Creations, along with little snippets of vocals from my garage influences. I’ve followed Jamie since the early days of Kubicle so it’s an honour to be releasing on his label.” - Seb Zito 

Nut In Your Mouth instantly commands attention with an infectious vocal hook that ripples around the pounding bassline. Flow is a frenetic offering with a chaotic flow and elements of acid that tightly coil together before unfurling into a rich, unadulterated bass conjuring up a sort of rhythmic voodoo. The EP rounds off with Put Your Phones Down feat. Woodzy. The track utilises a burgeoning synth that grows steadily as a hypnotic vocal line bleeds an air of mysticism into it before Woodzy calls us to put our phones down and get up. 

Seb Zito has firmly established himself as a key player on the house and techno scene. One of the core residents of London party starters Fuse, Zito has an unwavering ability to connect with the crowd and regularly plays at some of the world’s most renowned clubs. He runs his own highly-praised imprints Seven Dials and F&Z as well as releasing a slew of well-received EPs on Fuse, Infuse, Play It Say It, Edible, Four Thirty Two, ORIGINS, Rawax & Kaos Theory. 2020 is set to be a seminal year for Seb with plans to grow Seven Dials as a brand and the release of his debut album.
