Plates is collection of 8 prime cuts, selected and presented by Main Course's very own BOT. House music is what drove him to start DJing so many years back, and has been the main inspiration behind what we present, as a label, and individually as DJs. You'll see some familiar names on the track list, as these tunes were hand picked from from our good friends, and exciting new talents we've found along the way. The goal was to compile an album of strong house tracks that  bring something unique to the table, while at the same time avoiding the current cliches of the genre. The new three track EP is forthcoming on Barcelona/Ibiza-based imprint Wow! Recordings and we've managed to get our hands on an exclusive sliver from the release in the form of 'Jabber Hockey'. This is a dark, solid four-to-the-floor groover, which welcomes the winter in supreme fashion. It's most certainly one for the warehouse with an awesome blend fusing an ensemble of harrowing melodic touches and an onslaught of rasping vocal snippets.

Long-time German house label Kittball welcome Italian pair The Deepshakerz for two more of their effective dance floor detonators.
This duo of Domy Berardino and Mirco Sonatore are real musical magpies who draw from old school, new school, Chicago, afro, vocal and tech styles to cook up their high impact sounds. They are favoured by DJs like Luciano, Dubfire and Loco Dice and land on highly visible labels like Saved and Snatch! amongst many others.
Opener ‘Caipirinha’ is as steamy and tropical as it sounds thanks to the well-treated female vocal line that adds fiery soul up top. The clattering drums and hits are perfectly raw and bristling and sure to pump up the energy levels on any dance floor.
Showing off another side to their sound is the deliciously deep and dynamic ‘Faded Rainbow.’ With another anthemic vocal drifting up top, warm drums and crisp percussion carve out a serious groove below. Plenty of smart effects, clever fills and studio tricks ensure this one cannot fail to standout.
