When reviewing Los Cabra (Christ Burstein) musical merits at this point in time, it shows that most of it took shape off the beaten path. Be it the conditions that sparked his DJ- career. Be it his approach of DJing itself or be it his artistic progression, manifested in his productions.

Over the last years, Christ landed a string of much noticed releases on different labels, be it on Rural, his Berlin-based label-mainstay or be it on imprints like Stil vor Talent, Get Physical, Sincopat, Bar 25, Gruuv, Ritter Butzke, Obsolet, etc.
The Berlin based live act, Dj & producer combines melancholic, organic soundscapes and a distinct percussive touch in his unique perception.
The result is an intimate listening experience, which hovers between melodic introspection and his Latin roots.
Maintaining artistic integrity, releasing records that reflect where his love for music is at in one moment,
not knowing where it might be on the very next release, and keeping DJ-sets not only interesting for a crowd, but also himself.
Artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Elfenberg, Lonya, Bebetta, Pezzner, Kollektiv Ost,
Britta Arnold, Noraj Cue, Chris Fortier & Coss are just a few names that already
remixed him. That’s where he is at right now.
There’s no scene-dictated tunnel view in his activities, there is only a pointed emphasis on style, on groove and sophistication. An emphasis, that, because it’s informed by Afro, Techno, Melodic house or even Downtempo, is advanced enough to always shine through the inflationary characteristic of the genre as notably original.
Granted: What Christ is laying his hands on might have its place within the parameters of House and Techno, but it’s always more than that. It’s his style.

A faixa Odyssey foi inspirada nos progressive house antigos, porém com uma pegada mais forte do Melodic Techno. O nome da faixa faz analogia ao sintetizador "ARP Odyssey".
A faixa Fundamentals tem uma pegada mais pista e com bateria mais marcada. A música leva este nome, pois os artistas acreditam que toda amizade verdadeira é necessário uma base forte.

WIND ORACLES | PROPHETS OF THE DESERT SONG

In the heart of the unrelenting desert, where the sun’s fury reigns supreme and the wind dances to its own chaotic rhythm, the Wind Oracles emerge. Draped in flowing, golden fabrics that shimmer like the dunes they inhabit, they walk with a purpose unknown to most. These enigmatic priestesses, known only as Zéphyrids, are said to be the keepers of a sacred and ancient faith—a religion borne from the whispers of the desert wind.

The Zéphyrids move like mirages, their figures shrouded in mystery as their piercing eyes seem to see beyond the horizon of time itself. Legends say the wind speaks through them, carrying messages of both doom and salvation. Their chants, rhythmic and hypnotic, echo the sound of the desert itself: a symphony of shifting sands, howling gusts, and the rare patter of rain. They prophesy a future shaped by the elements, where humanity must embrace the chaotic song of nature or face obliteration. 

Pilgrims, wanderers, and lost souls stumble upon them in the desolation, drawn not by sight but by the haunting melodies they weave into the wind. It is said that those who hear their music are forever changed, their spirits aligned with the unyielding power of the desert. But the Oracles offer no comfort—only the truth as raw and unforgiving as the storm.

The Zéphyrids are the last remnants of an ancient order, and their ceremonies, conducted beneath the burning sky, invoke the spirits of the sandstorms and summon visions of a world reborn in fire and wind. The images of these mysterious women standing amidst the swirling sands are a testament to their divine connection to the desert’s eternal song. Their music, much like the desert itself, is both a haunting lullaby and a primal scream—a call to surrender to the wild forces that shape existence.
