Mindspring Music presents Lesmus - Liberation [MSM085]

"We are not our bodies or our minds but a greater, cosmic force that is at the core of all creatures. Connect to your higher self as you move through this earthly plane."

Liberation is a fusion of psychedelic downtempo hips and hops whereby its soundscape provides a source of freedom for the mind to become still while driving rhythms, melodies and bass guide us along this frequency meditation into the realm of cosmic bliss.

Inspired by spiritual and philosophical teachings from around the world but especially yogically, Liberation was a feeling that had arisen from the desire to fuse multiple interests over the course of a track. Having ventured first into the realm of psychedelics years back and then through many other avenues, it only made sense to organically find a way back to the source. Initially, the project began as an experiment to see if this alchemy was possible. Finally, having found this sense of 'release' from having to produce one kind of sound and box it so to speak, 4 tracks were honed and cultivated in order to allow its natural unfolding into the material world.

Set from PsyChill to Psytrance at the Trance Dance Workshop for a group of 100 people spread around the field and the church of  Ruigoord on 25/7/20.
It was super cool to make a total raise and go through so many Psychedelic styles, and to play Psytrance for a group of dancing people!
The recording misses only the first 10 minutes with PsyChill and PsyDub.
