Dj Daria Cyber (St. Petersburg) started back in 2007 as an MC at closed DnB parties and continued her journey as part of the musical project "Tripurantaka crew" under the stage name "MIW", playing exclusively "broken bits" (breaks, dnb, breakbeat). After the collapse of the team in 2018, the Daria Cyber solo project appears, specializing in such musical directions as downtempo, slowtech, afrohouse, deeptech, while continuing to perform in Thailand (Koh-Phangan), China, Cambogia, India (Goa),Shri-Lanka and also became the headliner of electronic music festivals held in Russia (SOLAR SYSTO, OROBORO) more than once. Despite the fact that this project is completely new, Daria Cyber has already released her podcasts on many major labels from Russia (Moscow,Kazan,Baikal),Spain (Ibiza), India (GOA,Delhi,Puna) Turkey(Istanbul), Brussel, Germany, Mexico, France (Paris) and also worked on a joint project "Scifiromance" with the resident of "Burning Man", the musician Deisen.
"Daria Cyber" is a completely new experimental sound of the future and a combination of the underground with ethnic motifs, which managed to conquer the hearts of true connoisseurs of high-quality sound! The goal of the project is to combine natural and unnatural: sounds of nature with electronic sounds, live drums with synths, mantras with electronic rich bass. "Daria Cyber" is a shamanic dance smoothly overpriced with a modern style!

“The adventure in mixing has begun for me, back in spring of 2016. Since then, many friends have supported and loved my work. They call me a musical storyteller and, you know, I love it!
I'm a music lover and I choose songs carefully, from downtempo electronica with ethnic elements, to darker and deeper house vibes. I also search for vibes that evoke strong emotions to sort of cleanse the soul.

The names of the gods of the Olmec are not known other than that they often represented phenomena such as rain, the earth and especially maize. For this reason, identifiable gods from Olmec art have been given numbers instead of names (e.g. God VI). The Olmecs gave special significance to the animals present in their environment, especially those at the top of the food chain such as jaguars, eagles, caimans, snakes and even sharks, identifying them with divine beings and perhaps also believing that powerful rulers could transform themselves at will into such fearsome creatures.

Wir befinden uns mitten in der schönsten Jahreszeit. An Tagen wie diesen kann unserer blendenden Laune nicht einmal Regen etwas anhaben. Er steigert im besten Fall noch den Spaß und ermöglicht einzigartige Outdoor-Aktivitäten. Die Festivalsaison lässt uns nochmal Kind sein und weckt unsere Kreativität. Wir sehen Möglichkeiten statt Hindernisse und leben ein Wochenende in einer wundervollen Parallelwelt. Einzig getrieben durch unsere Grundbedürfnisse gleiten wir gelöst vom gesellschaftlichen Zwang durch die Stunden der Freiheit.
Wie bereits in unserer deep story Nr. 51 angekündigt, haben wir uns dieses Jahr auf unbekanntes Terrain gewagt und uns eher auf den kleinen Events rumgetrieben. Unser Fazit fiel überwiegend positiv aus. Ein absoluter Vorteil familiärer Festivals ist die enorme Zeitersparnis. Anstehen gehört hier in das Reich der Mythen und Sagen. Der kleine Hunger oder das große Geschäft können meist instant erledigt werden, da die Wege Kurz und die Schlangen noch viel kürzer sind. Bleibt mehr Zeit für die geliebten Tanzsportaktivitäten. Kleine Wermutstropfen sind da lediglich die zeitweise unbesetzten Stände und leeren Tanzflächen. Zudem ist die Auswahl natürlich geringer. Wenn einem die Musik auf Floor 1 nicht in Schwung bringt und Floor 2 gnadenlos überfüllt ist, muss man sich manchmal eine kleine Zwangspause gönnen.
Dennoch ist das Gesamterlebnis, egal ob Massenevent oder Kleinveranstaltung, oft das Highlight des Jahres und schafft einzigartige Erinnerungen. Wann sonst steht man 4 Uhr auf weil einem der Beat aus dem Zelt zieht, tanzt ununterbrochen 3 Stunden und legt sich wieder schlafen.
So lasst uns das Ende der diesjährigen Open-Air Tanzsaison gebührend feiern und all die guten Begegnungen und Erfahrungen nochmal in den Kopf rufen. Dabei wird uns kein geringerer als David Jach behilflich sein. Der dieses Jahr durch seine zahlreichen treibenden Sets auf Festivals und Open-Airs sicherlich vielen von uns unvergessliche Momente beschert hat.

This week's raga comes from the very veryy tasteful @gamma-dee-meo (love this name hehe) aka Orlando from Switzerland, this is the third set in this series coming in from Switzerland, after DomDom and FunkyChap we now have Gamma dee meo <3.
I discovered him recently through his set ways of energy and the moment I heard it I instinctively knew that his creative force must be showcased on this platform. His tunes his style will touch you in more than one way. Emotional, beautiful... adjectives fail to describe this beauty.

In addition to working part-time as an illustrator and designer, Ju Sting further expands her artistic vein being DJ, a.k.a. @lazysamambaia. A diehard fan of electronic music, she's been djing since she was 16, at this point having 31 and, among some of the back-and-forth between remoteness and an intermittent deejaying, she resumed her musical research in the last 4 years, falling in love with the growing synthetic-organic fusions of electronic music with magic global organic rhythms.

Being recorded in her home/studio at Curitiba, wherefrom she rarely goes out, this 133th edition showcases a clear-cut timetable selection, and also overflows textures, layers and percussions. Stitching sonorities that give butterflies, sometimes softer, sometimes fatter, the Brazilian DJ transits coolly through a shrewd way of mixing, which has drawn our attention. Enjoy!
