A highlight of my 2021 was to play with a hero of mine, @mira_kater, at my favorite San Francisco venue, The Public Works 🖤

About 5 years ago I saw Mira play on this stage, and this summer it came full circle as I opened for her on her US tour. Dreams do come true!

It's been a lot of fun exploring various flavors of my music and curating different vibes for different crowds. Thanks to Peter Blick @peterblick and many others for the continuous support!

My 12th year performing at Priceless was the most fun I've had yet. Thank you to all of the planners, volunteers, and attendees that make Priceless happen. Deep gratitude to the musicians who made the music in this set, especially previous Priceless guests El Búho (@el-buho), David Last (@davidlast), and Rumpistol (@rumpistol). 

Special shout out to my forever inspirations for Forest vibes - Ganucheau (@ganucheau) and Dr. Toast (@drtoast). It still feels like everything I do with music is trying to do for others what they have done for me.

Griffin Crafts - Priceless 2023

Another priceless Priceless for the books. 
What a treat it is for the 3rd year in a row to play this beautiful festival nestled between the tallest of trees.

I played this set at 2am at the Forest stage, and it's all feels and textures - not a rager but full of energy. It's dark and moody. One might even say it's like magma that flows under ground - slow and powerful...

It's a set I've been craving to play for a while - I loved seeing tracks from different times in my life flow together in one potent current.

The Maya deities included Kukulkán (also known by the K'iche' name Gukumatz and the Aztec name Quetzalcoatl) and Tepeu.

The two were referred to as the Creators, the Forefathers or the Makers. According to the story, the two deities decided to preserve their legacy by creating an Earth-bound species looking like them. The first attempt was man made from mud, but Tepeu and Kukulkán found that the mud crumbled. The two summoned the other gods, and together they decided to make man from wood. 

However, since these men had no soul and soon lost loyalty to the creators, the gods destroyed them by rain. Finally, man was constructed from maize, the Mayans staple and sacred food. The deity Itzamna is credited as being the creator of the calendar along with creating writing.

Having Moontide on 333 Sessions is an honour, a prolific producer and Dj, Moontide's music has always had a special place in my heart. 
Words from the artist:  "I took a non linear approach with this mix. When approaching a mix I always like to allow it to breath and take on a life form of its own. Over the 3hrs it bends in tempo with a push and pull approach allowing moments of ecstatic dance and some moments of deep introspection. It features music from all over the world as well as some new music of mine. This is how I wish I could always DJ, allowing the ultimate expression of different tempos and styles. 333 Sessions 010 - Moontide

Recorded live Nov 6, 2020, celebrating the release of Ganucheau’s album “Variations on a Playground." The influence this music has had on me is hard to overstate. I consider Ganucheau's sound and this album in particular to be the core of my experience at Priceless, one that I deeply enjoy sharing with others at the event. And now, we can all share it at home thanks to its release.

The evening was intended to be full of soothing music, as in the US we were in the 4th night of not having election results - it had been quite a week and we all needed something other than the news and doomscrolling for a few hours. My set attempts to channel the mix of emotions I've been feeling over the last months, give a little rise and fall, and end on a soft note. Like we do in the forest.
