After a little summer break it is about time to reanimate our podcast series and serve you again with some cozy music for your home comforts. With slowly getting into winter mood we’re happy to share with you the perfect soundtrack for snuggling into the most comfy spot on the couch, made by no other than our all-time inspirer Matti aka @mattmosphere, master of chill mixtapes and connaisseur of the unconventional. He presents us an eclectic and soul soothing selection of tunes somewhere between Ambient, Balearic and Vaporwave. Calming genres that combine gentle instrumentation here and there with bird chirping, water dribble, wind noises and fire crackling - music made by lush nature that carries us back to the sunny days. Arising from some beautifully nostalgic reconnections you indeed feel his dedication to the abundance of a lush island, as Matti mentioned the „Schlaraffenland“, the land of milk an honey, a place that allows you to sit back, relax and float. We gladly follow that recommendation and invite you to celebrate slowliness and ease with us on this first day of December, which is also the day Matti was born! Da lässt du mal die Nummer 100 vom Stapel und schon überschlagen sich die Ereignisse. Käpt’n https://soundcloud.com/rolandson ist ein Gin-gestandener Seebär, doch die tagelange Sause auf dem Oberdeck hat selbst ihn dann in die Koje verwiesen und nur zum Luft schnuppern kurz raus gelassen. Während da also die hundertste Ausgabe unserer kleinen feinen Reihe die 7 Weltmeere kreuzt, flattern Huldigungen, Einladungen, Danksagungen und allerlei bunt zirpendes Musikgedöhns durch die Luke. Gut das wir uns schon letztes Jahr den liebenswerten https://soundcloud.com/garstique an Bord holten, denn er weiß, wie man eine torkelnde Crew vorm Absaufen bewahrt. So lässt er uns alle mit seiner langsamen Version von langsam, schnurstracks über die Planken schlaumeln - verschiebt das Raum Zeit Kontinuum und dreht mal eben alles von vorn nach hinten und mittendrin nochmal um 180 Grad. Alles klar? Ja, Nee - bei uns auch nicht. So versuchen wir uns seit Tagen mit seinem Mix auszukatern und freuen uns wie nach einer geglückten Kaperfahrt auf den April und den blauen Kater im Acidbogen. Doch Hier & Jetzt erstmal langsame Impulsionisationskammer - Musik, Aye.

Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Die Türen öffnen sich, leicht säurig. Herein, heraus, in die Cenote. Leicht benetzt ein jeder und ein überhaupt, ganz sanft so über allem. Mitten im Urwald, ganz weit, ganz wach, ganz nahbar und ganz fern, haben @WIDE-AWAKE-8 gespielt und mitgebracht was wir hier hören. Ganz live halt und ganz schön, auch ohne Blätterdach.

The Leipzig based artist began his project more than 8 years ago, initially with a Deep House perspective. In the process, his musical development over classical Italo // Balearics // Disco // Electro Sound finally led him to his true destiny - the 'Downbeat / Slowmo'.

From various rap samples and mixtapes, he knew the art of decelerated beats and now his sound, as he describes it, stands for "heart-beatmusic, between organic slowhouse and slowtechno. Mixed with cosmic appeal and an 80's attitude". 
We couldn't agree more. 

As part of slowereastside and the Wuza crew, he has constantly been involved in several projects on behalf of good taste.
