Codeword returns for its first Threads Radio show of 2022 (episode 27) hosting Viels (@viels), a rising star among a new generation of techno artists. The Milan-based artist has charted releases across labels including Non Series, Semantica, Dynamic Reflection, Edit Select and most recently a 4-track EP on @oscarmulero's Warm Up Recordings.

The founder of End of Perception (@endofperception) and resident at Milan's Acquario Immersioni is gaining recognition for his rugged, mechanical,  intense and groove-filled releases and DJ sets, and this 1h vinyl-only mix for Codeword is no exception.

Eulogy, for a long time, he has been listening to electronic music in general and is fascinated by cinema-like massive soundtracks, especially the atmospheric pads in the background, and the way they are created still fascinates him today. His love for strange forgotten man-made structures and recurring rhythmic sounds led him almost without detours to the current sound, which has a very strong impact on sets and also productions of his. It is a hunt for the loss of time and somewhere also space. There is nothing that can be explored in seconds, his sound invites you to linger. Physical activity combined with brain-stimulating sounds and deep, rumbling baselines, is his main focus when creating sets and tracks.
