50 years ago on this day, my best friend Johnny, his sister Francine, and father John were brutally murdered in a cold blooded incident that forever altered the course of my life. Rather than focus on the horror, I try to find some  light. I just composed this piece in my quest for respite. Rest In Peace my dear friends.

Studying history is like being shown a horror movie where people are constantly killing each other for stupid reasons and making the same mistakes over and over and over again. A never-ending futile madness.

The bad never learn, and the good suffer knowing.
