Rising Romanian minimalist Lenesu embarked on a mission to deliver a full length album release, of which is a proud moment in the Arupa camp.  From featuring in our podcast series and being a regular in our inbox, Lenesu has gone from strength to strength, unveiling nine brilliantly original tracks.  Aptly titled ‘From the Beginning’ with tracks titled only by number; notable textures create atmospheric tensions throughout.  Built in subtle nature, set free with emotive character.  Each track has an entity of its own; many, many intricate layers, individual arrangement formats, classy production techniques. Brought together fantastically by Lenesu and topped off with a super distinctive remix courtesy of our good friend Vadim Oslov.

The third release on We Are FTR welcomes Oros to the family with his Inside Out EP, presenting a trio of cuts to perfectly showcase his sound. “East” kicks things off, stretching out over the full A side with its captivating yet stripped back groove characterised by carefully crafted string samples. On the flip things get deeper, starting with the deceptively powerful “Rek” which finds the perfect blend of head-down introspection and driving energy. “Bartolomeo” closes out the EP with its alluring atmospheres sucking you in before more strings give a nod back to the A side and tie everything together perfectly.

For our first release, we are presenting you a raw insight of our older recorded jams. We were trying to recreate the vibes of our sessions and also, experimenting few different ways to produce music; based on one take recordings, live cuts and improvisations. It’s ended up by being an eclectic blending of raw and groovy minimal techno, sparkled with broken rhythms, micro sampling experiments, punchy percussions, deeper moods and unexpected constructions.... Nothing pre-established in our sounds, just the beginning of something.
