The Tequila Cowboys, or at least the idea of a band of cowboys playing music for the working class was actually conceived in an old 1 room cabin on an operating cattle ranch deep in the Cariboo region of British Columbia. This cabin is called Home Plate, and is near the old mining town of Horsefly. Odd place for an idea for a band but I wanted to play music that was fun to play and was,,,, well,,, Simple and Free. The way I feel in the Cariboo, far away from big society and all its complications. 

Time to put on the old cowboy boots and hats and Rock n Roll !

The Tequila Cowboys consist of 3 members, all from Maple Ridge, a few miles outside of Vancouver. The music we play is Rock and Roll, straight up, no auto tune, no pre recorded material on stage,,,, well you get it. We have 2 albums out, with the most recent Tele's and Tequila. The songs have peaked at #1 on the local Reverbnation Rock Charts and have had radio play. Our show is polished with strong stage presence with a real emphasis on entertaining.
