The GrassRoots G-Stream-Miku is a replica of the Custom ESP Hatsune Miku guitar. It is MUCH cheaper to buy the GrassRoots Miku guitar than the ESP Miku guitar, but for some reason, most of demonstration clips of the guitar that I could find were from ESP themselves. So because I own a G-Stream Miku, I thought I'd do a demonstration of it myself by covering a Hatsune Miku song.

This is the track that plays in the final level of "Potato game. Three". It was originally a much slower tune that I wanted to use as background score music for "Action John", but when Alex needed a last level tune at the last minute, it ended up being used for Potato game. instead. 

A few additional riffs were thrown in so that the tune wouldn't rely solely on the score piece initially intended for Action John. The tempo was also increased drastically with a punchy drum kit, originally the tune was much slower in tempo!

This tune was originally intended to be a vocal track for a musical I was brainstorming in 2018 (though I never actually wrote lyrics for it, nor a vocal melody). In 2020, when I started to learn how to play the guitar, I revisited the song and made a chorus melody via scatting. No lyrics were finalized as I didn't like what I was writing. In 2021, I made a MIDI for it after expressing interest to work on Potato game. Three. This is that very MIDI, and it appears when fighting the final boss, Inverso.

I like how the tune turned out, especially because it was my first time working with General MIDI.

This track comes from "Cross The Road", a video game released on some ATGames developed consoles. I was asked to cover this tune for Potato game. Trilogy, but I drastically changed it because some of the melodies sounded completely out of tune to my ears. I also played this on my 7 string Ibanez with my Dookie Drive Pedal.

This is a tune that you can hear in Potato game. Trilogy, it is a cover of a MIDI track located within the files of Windows. I arranged it slightly differently so I could play more guitar on the track.

I also asked Lorraine McDonald to play saxophone on the sax parts. I think she added a very organic flavour to the tune that I wouldn't have been able to achieve with just the help of my guitar and VST synths!

I also wanted a slap bass player on this track as well, but I couldn't get one. So I pulled a "Seinfeld" and used a slap bass sample instead!

Town

This was the FIRST cover track I did for Potato game. Trilogy. It's a cover of a tune that plays in "Break the Fireline", a game that released on various ATGames developed consoles. For some reason, this tune "interpolates" an Alisa song, but because so much is being "interpolated", it almost sounds ripped off. I have no idea why whoever worked on the "Break the Fireline" game thought to have the ONLY song in the WHOLE game have such a heavy interpolation like this, but, it does...

Anyway, in this cover of a "totally original" song from "Break the Fireline", I played all the instruments and programmed the drums, I think it turned out well!

This is a remix of the Oven Street Theme, which originally sampled a track from a game called "Dress: Grover Party!" In this remix, I interpolated the theme and included Johnny's vocals from the original.
