Aixa Yael is an Argentine artist, born and raised in Buenos Aires, enrolled in the musical cosmos from a very young age, with influences from electronic rhythms from home.
Since 2023 she has participated in the underground scene as a DJ. Within her DJ sets she usually travels between subgenres such as Break, EBM, dark disco, electro, and techno.
The combination of these rhythms in an eclectic way makes her sets an unexpected journey.
Her versatility led her to participate in the booths of Flac, Evil Bondi, Dune Park, Demimonde, Niceto, Espacio Ro, Eter and Tantra, among others.
Starting in 2025, she will join the Save the rave event as a resident DJ and co-producer.
Aixa, as a multidisciplinary artist, in addition to music, has been dedicated to the art of tattooing since 2017 to date.

Soma welcomes LA based Alexander Kulikov for a special release on the label, bringing the deep and dubbed out ‘October Dreams Pt.1’. The self professed ‘Dub Techno enthusiast’ has been involved in various musical activities in his time but has begun to focus more on the roots of his chosen sound throughout the last few years - bringing the traditional sound of Detroit & Berlin into his productions. This release (part 1 of 2) sees him delving into deep sonic experiments with ethereal soundscapes and atmospheres set to a backdrop of psycho-acoustic noise and static with the faintest of percussive elements helping to keep the rhythm. The release also features a special remix from one of Detroit’s best kept secrets as DeepLabs boss, Luke Hess turns in a perfectly crafted, Detroit inspired version of Stream.

The launch of a label always says something about its ambitions. Some choose the visibility of a compilation, gathering tracks and names to cast a wide net. Others decide to start with a statement, trusting the strength of a single project to carry their voice.

After more than a decade and a half of shaping Hungary’s underground through the Technokunst nights, the collective has made it clear which route they prefer. Their new imprint arrives with Split Series 01, a release that pairs two artists whose work already resonates deeply across the international techno circuit: Rrose and Luigi Tozzi. The format is simple but loaded, an original track from each, and remixes exchanged between them, creating a conversation that moves across styles and tempos but holds a singular focus on depth. For a first record, it reads less as an introduction and more as a confident extension of what Technokunst have always done: presenting electronic music with clarity, conviction, and longevity in mind.

Today we are thrilled to premiere Rrose's rework of Tozzi's "Insecta". Compared to Luigi's original, Rrose's rework creates a relatively vacant, suspenseful space for the first 30 seconds before striking with full venom. Harrowing layers and ominous atmospheres linger in the background. The escalation is immense. The drama cools, and things settle. The drum returns, but it’s more muted, it’s softer. The drive remains.

Available on the Technokunst website on vinyl on September 19th and released digitally in October.

We are delighted to welcome Chapter records curator Anika Kunst. Hailing from spain, Anika has started her career 15 years ago and has broadened her definition of Techno since then. The search of developing a distinctive style led her to what it seems to be a natural step in a dj career, the introduction in the production scene.

In early 2014 she launches her vinyl imprint, facing the techno in all its forms, and teaming up with great artists such as Architectural as a remixer.

Currently, she is a resident of The Pharm party in Pacha Ibiza, has her own party in Macarena club, called Technológica, and has just joined the team of one of the best techno parties in Spain, Insert.

Thanks to a finely sorted selection, Anika comes out with this amazing tension-generating and floor-oriented mix. Enjoy and don’t forget to share it if you like it!

In the world of techno, Terence Fixmer is a highly respected figure, celebrated for his innovative and genre-defying approach to music production. With a career spanning over two decades, he has released numerous albums and EPs on some of the most prestigious techno labels. His remixing talents have extended to tracks from industry giants like Depeche Mode, Yann Tiersen, Sven Väth, Dave Clarke, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Indochine, and more.
Terence Fixmer is renowned for the quality of his live performances, gracing renowned clubs and festivals worldwide.

Chapter 1: 1998-2007.

In 1998, Terence established his own label, Planete Rouge. From 1999 to 2007, he gained worldwide recognition with the release of his debut album, "Muscle Machine," under DJ Hell's legendary International Deejay Gigolos imprint. This album masterfully blended elements of electro, industrial, EBM, and techno, pioneering a dancefloor-oriented style later recognized as "Techno Body Music." Tracks like "Electrostatic," "Body Pressure," and "Electric Vision" are still hailed as modern classics today.

In 2002, Fixmer joined forces with Nitzer Ebb's lead singer, Douglas McCarthy, to form Fixmer/McCarthy. Together, they released two full-length albums that pushed the boundaries of Techno EBM to the maximum. The album "Fixmer McCarthy Between the Devil" has earned its place as a revered classic, and the band has become iconic in the Techno EBM scene.The duo has performed their energetic live sets at numerous renowned clubs and festivals all across the globe.Fixmer/McCarthy earned respect in the global scene for their unique way of creating truly pioneering sound fusions by elegantly blending the aggression of Techno Body Music and the sensuality of Electronica.

Chapter 2: 2007-2015

Fixmer continued to expand the horizons of modern techno, releasing albums and EPs under his own name as well as various alter egos, showcasing his ability to maintain a unique sonic personality while avoiding repetition. His works found homes on highly respected techno labels such as Electric De Luxe (notably the "Comedy of Menace" album in 2010), Prologue, Jealous God, CLR (including the "Depth Charged" album in 2014), Aufnahme + Wiedergabe.

Chapter 3: 2015-2020

Terence Fixmer continued to evolve his sound in 2015. His EP "Aktion Mekanik," originally released in 2003, was reissued on Ostgut Ton, marking his entry into the Ostgut Ton family—the flagship label of Berlin's Berghain club. He subsequently released various EPs and his album "Through the Cortex."
 Fixmer's distinct sound signature remained in high demand, leading to remix requests from notable artists such as Depeche Mode, Front 242, Ellen Allien, Front Line Assembly, Arnaud Rebotini, Yann Tiersen etc..

Chapter 4: 2020- 
 
Terence produced music for Thomas Cohen (formerly of Scum) with tracks like "Braid" and "Chain of Love" on Mute Records.

Additionally, he signed with the legendary label Mute Records, renowned for its roster of innovative and influential artists. 
In 2022, he released his first album on Mute Records titled "Shifting Signals" .
His music has been used by Fashion brand, such as Prada, Raf Simons ...
A 2nd album is in the plan for 2024.


Terence Fixmer's unwavering drive to craft experimental, mind-bending, and relentless sounds continues to transcend the boundaries of the musical mainstream, solidifying his place as a visionary within the techno and electronic music landscape.
