Hello there beautiful people, I’m Marleen aka DJ Übergang! 

Funnily my first touch point with electronic music, in particular techno, was Munich. I was doing an internship there late 2013/beginning of 2014 and often ended up at Rote Sonne or Harry Klein on the weekends – back then I was completely hooked by the sound and energy. When I moved to Berlin in April 2014 and discovered the party scene my excitement for electronic music was deepened and I started to spend more and more of my free time on music digging (like deep diving into artists and labels). When I attended houseparties or pre drink sessions I liked to play music (back in the day very old fashioned and unprofessional via Youtube :-P) and often people were telling me to maybe do something with my taste in music. It took me several years to have the courage to actually play at a bar and record my first mix though!
Over time and with new experieces I made in Berlin I developed a passion for Synth/Wave/80s/Italo Disco and EBM – one of the reasons why I love going to Dream Baby Dream almost every weekend. I especially like switching between different genres and decades – both when I play a set or record a mix.
I don’t seek any professional goals but consider playing music as my most favorite hobby. It’s super fun to share music and to catch up on the responses you get - according to the motto: Music, connecting people!
I’m mostly inspired by artists who bring together different genres and decades. Big inspirations for me are Mike Who, Fei Pao, Tim Sweeny and Steele Bonus. My favorite soundcloud channels are e.g. Beats in Space, Planet Trip Records, Lorem Ipsum and Dark Entries Records.

TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ ANNĒ & SERA J

Born and raised in Thessaloniki she started her music career in 2012. Annē is a promising upcoming talent fully dedicated to techno music and focused on developing her career as a DJ & composer.
Starting as a raver she began to think of music like something extremely experiential. Her sets are powerful & pumping with never ending dynamics, focused on the perfect interaction with the crowd. As for her music productions she is sharpening her sound having strong references from Detroit while she is trying to print her inner feelings into her tracks.
Being a local artist and resident DJ of executive underground projects in her city, she has shared the
booth with some of the most notable international & local artists.
With strong releases on Out of Place, Autonome records, Ben Sim’s Label Symbolism and Soma Records she is keeping it up with more music while she signed to release a second Ep on Out of Place with remixes from Alien Rain & Insolate & also another Ep on Symbolism this year.

SERA J is a Techno music producer and dj from Greece. He was born and raised in Thessaloniki, while he produce music since 2008. His style can be typed as a combination of techno with pumping melodies, acid sounds, powerful baselines and Detroit details.
Being a local artist & resident dj of executive underground projects in his city, he has shared the booth with some of the most talented international & local artists, like Stef Mendesidis, Jonas Kopp, Dax J, Paal (  Voitax), Keith Carnal, Setaoc Mass, Paula Temple, Axel Karakasis, JudaΣ, SNTS etc. , something that helped him to expand his knowledge on what he loves the most.
Last year he released music on Insolate’s & Volster’s label Out of place records with a very successful release while he released a vinyl record in 303 series on Planet Rhythm. He also signed his second release, a 4 track Ep on Planet Rhythm records this summer & his future promises many more to come.

The Ctrls project was founded In 2012 with Copenhagen as its home base. From the first Token Records release the presence of a highly individual sonic style was apparent and his fast-paced and futuristic techno-based sound has now been well established with a stream of respected music on Token Records and Key Vinyl. A lifelong devotee of electronic dance music, DJ’ing, and live performance are central for the project. This has resulted in many involved sets at globally notable venues such as Berghain, Khidi, Fabric, Tresor, Kit Kat and Club Drugstore in addition to a residency at Copenhagen’s purest electronic music venue: Ved Siden Af.

Terence Fixmer's music has the remarkable ability to not only set feet in motion on the dance floor but also resonate deeply with the searching soul, all while maintaining a profound musical depth and integrity.
In the world of techno, Terence Fixmer is a highly respected figure, celebrated for his innovative and genre-defying approach to music production. With a career spanning over two decades, he has released numerous albums and EPs on some of the most prestigious techno labels. His remixing talents have extended to tracks from industry giants like Depeche Mode, Yann Tiersen, Sven Väth, Dave Clarke, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Indochine, and more.
Terence Fixmer is renowned for the quality of his live performances, gracing renowned clubs and festivals worldwide.

Chapter 1: 1998-2007.

In 1998, Terence established his own label, Planete Rouge. From 1999 to 2007, he gained worldwide recognition with the release of his debut album, "Muscle Machine," under DJ Hell's legendary International Deejay Gigolos imprint. This album masterfully blended elements of electro, industrial, EBM, and techno, pioneering a dancefloor-oriented style later recognized as "Techno Body Music." Tracks like "Electrostatic," "Body Pressure," and "Electric Vision" are still hailed as modern classics today.

In 2002, Fixmer joined forces with Nitzer Ebb's lead singer, Douglas McCarthy, to form Fixmer/McCarthy. Together, they released two full-length albums that pushed the boundaries of Techno EBM to the maximum. The album "Fixmer McCarthy Between the Devil" has earned its place as a revered classic, and the band has become iconic in the Techno EBM scene.The duo has performed their energetic live sets at numerous renowned clubs and festivals all across the globe.Fixmer/McCarthy earned respect in the global scene for their unique way of creating truly pioneering sound fusions by elegantly blending the aggression of Techno Body Music and the sensuality of Electronica.

Chapter 2: 2007-2015

Fixmer continued to expand the horizons of modern techno, releasing albums and EPs under his own name as well as various alter egos, showcasing his ability to maintain a unique sonic personality while avoiding repetition. His works found homes on highly respected techno labels such as Electric De Luxe (notably the "Comedy of Menace" album in 2010), Prologue, Jealous God, CLR (including the "Depth Charged" album in 2014), Aufnahme + Wiedergabe.

Chapter 3: 2015-2020

Terence Fixmer continued to evolve his sound in 2015. His EP "Aktion Mekanik," originally released in 2003, was reissued on Ostgut Ton, marking his entry into the Ostgut Ton family—the flagship label of Berlin's Berghain club. He subsequently released various EPs and his album "Through the Cortex."
 Fixmer's distinct sound signature remained in high demand, leading to remix requests from notable artists such as Depeche Mode, Front 242, Ellen Allien, Front Line Assembly, Arnaud Rebotini, Yann Tiersen etc..

Chapter 4: 2020- 
 
Terence produced music for Thomas Cohen (formerly of Scum) with tracks like "Braid" and "Chain of Love" on Mute Records.

Additionally, he signed with the legendary label Mute Records, renowned for its roster of innovative and influential artists. 
In 2022, he released his first album on Mute Records titled "Shifting Signals" .
His music has been used by Fashion brand, such as Prada, Raf Simons ...
A 2nd album is in the plan for 2024.


Terence Fixmer's unwavering drive to craft experimental, mind-bending, and relentless sounds continues to transcend the boundaries of the musical mainstream, solidifying his place as a visionary within the techno and electronic music landscape.
