'I wrote this record thinking about a couple I met some time ago in New York. 
He's a tall distinctive afro american man in his mid forties very fond of his clean shiny vinyl shoes. He loves Soul Black Music and has a soft spot for women in general. 
His wife knows that but hopes one day he will have eyes just for her. 

She's not a spring chicken either and lives day by day waiting for something magic to happen while she poures average filtered coffee six days a week in the local cafe' where she works.
They are so different but there is one thing they have in common 'Their favourite record'. 
One evening walking back home Shirley was feeling a little sorry for herself not knowing where Leo had been for the last days. But all of a sudden she has the impression of hearing their song.. and then louder & louder and from the distance Leo appears driving an old blue cadillac that reminded her so much of the car he drove on their first date 20 years ago.

He stops, smiles and looks at Shirley with guilty eyes and tells her "I've got so many things to say to you". He opens the door for her and they drive home without saying one more word but just listening with a dreamy smile to their song "When I hear my record I know I'm Home".
They kiss and enter the front door and from that moment they lived the rest of their days like if they just jumped out of their favourite song.'

Argentina meets Italy in a high-voltage collaboration as Nicolo (AR) joins forces with Italian-Dutch duo ALOSOUL for a supersonic double-tracker on EXTIMA, titled Groove Theory [EP]. Three months on from his truly historic 5-hour marathon set at the open-air Tres Aguas venue in Cordoba, Argentina at the start of 2012, UK legend John Digweed looks back and then forward as he prepares to share the magic and indulge those not fortunate enough to attend that unforgettable January night. 

So unbelievably special was the occasion both for John and the thousands of party-goers who bore witness that on 30th April, the Bedrock head-honcho will release his brand new triple CD package Live in Cordoba, giving Digweed fans across the world the chance to experience and reminisce upon what was, in his own words, one of the best party atmospheres [hes] ever experienced.

Complete with two Live Mix CDs (1&2) and a third bonus disc featuring exclusive un-released and most importantly unmixed cuts from Digweeds bag, the Live in Cordoba triple long player captures so exquisitely the innate capacity John has for manipulating and executing sounds and continuously wowing a crowd for hours on end with impeccable record selection. 

CD 1 showcases John`s ability to set the mood with grooving house and forward thinking techno tracks with remixes from the likes of Agoria, Martin Buttrich, Robert Babicz, Dominik Eulberg, Stephan Bodzin and Subb_an. 

CD 2 sees John shift gears with chunky beats and driving techno from Maetrik, Alljacks, Oliver Lieb, Boys Noize & Erol Alkan, Nick Curly and Guy J, among others. 

CD 3 Sees John with his A&R hat on, compiling 10 fantastic, new and unmixed tracks from Sian, Pig&Dan, Dosem and an exclusive remix of Slam`s classic Eterna remixed by John Digweed and Nick Muir.

Having bought us a plethora of Techno bombs of late, Monika Kruse's Terminal M, for their next release, go house. Tech-house to be more precise, and delivered by a duo that are fast on the rise. 

History has brought together many disparate figures... Thelma & Louise, Bud Spencer & Terrance Hill, Woody Allen and his stepdaughter... and often, something wonderful came from the meeting. This is also the case with the boys of, Andhim. 

Two contrasting characters who together, with what they refer to as their unique style of 'Super House', look to bring the dancefloor together. Their releases for Kling Klong, Shaker Plates, Great Stuff, Wasabi Recs. and Monaberry have been doing just that, and today they look to continue their mission, with their debut for Terminal M. 

From the party-starting opener of "Like A Wirsing", we are swept up in a wave of 'Bass'. The opener has certainly been touched by some 'San Fran' sunshine, and with its simple percussion and warm vocal delivers a perfect hip-swinging start to the EP. 

"Extragold" with its low-slung, lazy march, is just as infectious. Hammond and accordion stabs purposefully and expertly  violate the bassline, and together with the sultry vocal, which at times brilliantly cascades away, help create a gold plated dancefloor smash.

Hanne & Lore take on "Like A Wirsing", and build on the original's groove, whilst adding a heightened electronic bassline and bringing an array of new and traditional sounds to the fore.
