The influential Ukrainian duo ARTBAT has been enlisted to bring their unique melodic sounds to a new remix of Röyksopp's 2005 smash ‘What Else Is There?’ The iconic original has been streamed 10s of millions of times and ARTBAT are contemporary electronic tastemakers with a global fanbase, so this is a perfect pairing of two musical giants.

Despite only starting to work together in 2015, ARTBAT has played to tens of thousands of people at festivals all over the world, had their faces on giant billboards, and been Beatport’s biggest selling artists for the last two years. The prolific pair have a put out a steady stream of high quality, always innovative sounds including hit remixes of Monolinks’s Return To Oz and Sono’s Keep Control, which both charted for more than 12 months at a time. As well as collaborations with Sailor & I, CamelPhat, Dino Lenny, WhoMadeWho, Matador and Rafael Cerato, the pair's solo work is always both accessible and melodic yet forward-facing and innovative.

Retaining the iconic vocals of Fever Ray and The Knife frontwoman Karin Dreijer, ARTBAT’s fantastic new remix of 'What Else Is There?' transforms the classic Nordic chug of Röyksopp’s original into the type of high drama big room house music they’re renowned for.

Pete Tong has confirmed a BBC Radio 1 play on the day of release and this essential new track will feature on a new playlist curated by the band highlighting their biggest remixes.

This is another huge release for ARTBAT, who continue to redefine their own unique sound with each fantastic new outing.

We are happy to welcome Maceo Plex to Drumcode with the fourth instalment of his Conjure series, ‘Conjure Infinity’. Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. Two sure fire tracks to ignite the floor.

A firm Drumcode favourite, Mark Reeve is back with his latest
techno opus.

Weaving his vitalising, biting techno through the seminal imprint since 2012, Reeve has since become a permanent fixture within Adam Beyer’s camp. He saw demand for his knockout ‘Run Back’ EP being matched and surpassed by his ‘Far Away’ EP, which bagged the number one spot on Beatport’s techno chart. Staunch DC fans will also be familiar with Reeve’s output on the label’s ASides compilation series, and clubbers hot on the tails of Drumcode events will have caught him
centre stage across a string of showcases, including the inaugural Drumcode Festival.

Reeve’s music invariably endorses an arresting sonic aesthetic, with intense melodies often driving in those eye-closing moments. The title track ‘Distance’ is an atmospheric opening gambit set to sonically massage the senses with uplifting pads and a radiant melody. ‘Serum’, a track recently roadtested by Beyer at a special event in collaboration with Cercle, soars and captivates as it progresses with a low-end rumble and intricate keys. ‘Fix Me’ is a vigorous techno workout that’s intent on energising a clubroom rammed with sweat-soaked dancers. Closing off the EP, ‘Filmwave’ rides a killer groove into a pit of punchy, powerful kicks.

Incoming! It's Friday, the weekend has almost landed and we premiere a loopy 90's inspired techno self-release from young Cork DJ and producer, Fionn O'Regan aka FYuN.

Fionn O'Regan aka FYuN is a 23 year old DJ / Producer based in Cork City. Through hard work and dedication he has quickly made a name for himself on the forefront of the electronic music scene in Cork having shared stages with the likes of Sunil Sharpe, Jamie Behan, Doug Cooney, Theologue, Maedbh O'Connor, DJ Seinfeld, Offtrack and Jish to name a few.

He launched the Elision collective with Dave O’Neill and Jack Devine in early 2018 which held a monthly residency in Cork's electronic capital, Dali Cork. Outside of the club over the past year or so, FYuN has kept a very strong focus on developing his own productions and unique sound. Striving to incorporate the late 90s and early 00s looping sound to his own unique style, FYuN takes inspiration from artists such as Bryan Zentz, Chris Liebing and Guy McAffer to name a few. 2020 is expected to be a big year for FYuN with his first label release recently confirmed.

Un an après la sortie de « A Life with Large Opening », album encensé par France Inter (Rebecca Manzoni) qui a mené Samba De La Muerte de La Maroquinerie (Paris) jusqu’aux terres mexicaines, la formation normande célèbre cet anniversaire avec un album de remixes d’une pièce maitresse de leur second album : ‘Motech’.

Ce nouvel opus ‘Motech & Friends (Remixes)’ a été pensé comme une compilation réunissant les artistes de la scène électronique indépendante française et européenne. 
Calling Marian, Zenzile, Inuït, Roscius, Mokado, Axel Rigaud, Chantier (Gauthier Toux & Erwan Valazza), Jan Brauer, Yolande Bashing et Zerolex ont répondu à l’invitation du groupe afin de s’approprier, de réinterpréter et de remixer ‘Motech’. 
Derrière ce casting impressionnant se cache aussi la volonté de Samba De La Muerte de soutenir et de mettre en avant la scène musicale qui les inspire. 
Le produit de ces différentes rencontres nous donne à entendre une musique riche, singulière, puissante, témoignage d’une émergence musicale foisonnante et ambitieuse.

Incoming! Today we premiere a brand new track from SMU, aka Sean Murphy on  Four Four Mag, as we host his brand new track titled 'Bismuth', which is a high energy fast paced trance infused techno banger.

If you're not familiar with SMU aka Sean Murphy, SMU is an emerging talent breaking into the scene from Kilkenny. The 24 year old has been working on his craft for the last seven years, focusing his energy into the faster end of the techno spectrum.  

With a collection of excellent releases on Subwoofer Records, Industrial Techno United & Coup to name a few, plus a heap of self released tracks via his own channels, SMU has had a rapid start to his career as a  producer, as his brand of 145+ BPM high energy techno releases continue to flow.

A heavy influence of listening to trance, hard house and hardstlye throughout his teenage years, is seen within his productions and sets, with thumping kicks, harsh acid lines and big leads being the forefront of his sound.  

With recent inspiration coming from producers who incorporate the trancey techno sound along with some acid in their music. To name a few: LAVEN, Hephaistos, YA, JKS, LULU, Trym, Viper Diva.
