Hyper Classicism is a reload of my past month’s work — an anthology of classical traditions reimagined through bold forms and lesser-known instruments.
I’ve been making acoustic techno for 30 years using orchestral tools inside sequencers, not realizing that wasn’t standard DAW practice.
With Hyper Classical, I created a genre that reshapes classical instruments and structures using the maximalist, cut-up logic of hyperpop.
It reinterprets other genres — EDM, RAP, Acid techno, even Eurovision itself — all filtered through a classical mindset.
At its core, it explores how classical sound morphs across cultures, far beyond the Western canon.
