From the first drop, WERKSHOP goes straight into overdrive—fusing the rough-edged spirit of underground rave culture with the raw muscle of power house. On this EP, HEDO HYDR8 got his hands on 70s laboratory sound equipment. He uses vintage and analog tools like filters, oscillators, and amplifiers to conjure up five instances of contemporary and fierce dancefloor energy.

The release, following HEDO HYDR8's first China tour, further cements his place at the intersection of electronic experimentation and dancefloor urgency. With a discography that spans angels, Juicy Gang Records (with DJ SPIT), XXIII (with Muskila), and sets aired on Rinse FM, NTS (ZULI), and Peder Mannerfelt’s mix series, HYDR8’s ever-shifting approach continues to resonate on an international scale.

WERKSHOP is the new release by Copenhagen-native producer Hedo Hydr8, marking his debut on Terminal. This five–track project assembles industrial-grade tools for the dancefloor — direct, abrasive and precision-built.

Recorded with vintage 70s lab equipment — filters, oscillators and amplifiers — the EP reduces sound to distortion, percussion and drive. Across its five tracks, HYDR8 pushes grooves that DJs have already described as weapons, powerful, wild and madness.

From the heavy punch of Ultra Driver and the bounce of Power+, to the warped tension of Aluma Bright and the percussive grit of Baileigh Funk (VIP), WERKSHOP delivers functional units designed for impact. Each piece channels UK techno, breaks, baile and power house into raw, floor-focused forms.

WERKSHOP is less about polish than pressure: a toolkit for DJs, cut to sustain intensity and test the limits of the system.
