Like liquid mercury in a petri dish—slick, supple, and playfully disobedient— @rhyw ’s music dazzles as it defies expectation. He has released mostly on Fever AM, the imprint he set up with Mor Elian in 2017, as well as labels like Avian and Modeselektor’s SSPB. In the studio or behind the decks, he brilliantly fuses different strains of ultra-modern techno and broken beat: eyes-down minimal lights up with modular sass, choppy kicks flirt with rolling grooves, and
sharp sound design slices through earthy subs. It’s the kind of amphibious sound that can slip into otherworldly spaces while never truly leaving the dance floor.

"This mix was closing Supercamp festival’s last ever edition, from 6 to 8pm on a sunday. Therefore we thought we do a reverse journey of intensity, starting with 140 pressure taking our time to slow all the way down to 120 during the 2hours - hitting 130 with mellow dub techno cuts or classic-feel ukg, and ending with a series of (very) warm closing tracks upon closing tracks. You’ll know by now that Bambi and Beatrice M. are pretty different in their approach to DJing, which makes it all the more interesting and fun for them to find the lovely middle ground they pleasantly settle in during their b2bs. For this one, the key word is: dub. »

For the first episode of Spectrum, her new radio show at RP and club night at Baggen, Vika took over the RP booth in the closing slot and invited berlin based sweetheart Ophélie  for the first hour. Tune in for a very sophisticated, minimalist yet details rich mix of contemporary dubstep, percussive broken beats and atmospheric techno. It's gentle, it's gloomy, and sometimes it goes angry and punchy mode - and we must say, its overall rather beautiful! Definitely a recommendation from us.

Terra Magica Rec. is firmly based in Munich and founded by Tom Sprenger and Mirko Hecktor. The spirit of Terra Magica Rec. is to share underground music from heavy, slow and trippy to rough, distinct catchy dance floor oriented rhythms. The label bosses Tom and Mirko operate under their moniker Hektisch Sprengen DJs (In German language the term Hektisch Sprengen basically means blowing up things in a hectic manner). In contrast to this moniker prepare for quite the contrary sound vise: Shimmering synths between mysterious dubiously sounds, dark and slow breakbeat cuts, floaty atmospheric IDM breakdowns and uptempo acid and trance landscapes. In addition to their own solo projects the focus of the label lies on releasing solo projects and various artist compilations drawing from a pool of talented individuals hailing from corners of the globe.
