a machine's last breath

All torn up and beat up
They are able to play a small song before their service ends
A little child comes up by the machine
"Are you okay!?"
"Heating and cooling failure: Error 17"
The Machine notices the child and how worried they are about them
"Hey there little one! Do you want to hear a simple song?"
A tune starts to play out of it's chest
The sound of the tune is cracked up, messed up, but still calming
The parents of the child come over to the machine while the last tune is playing
"Thank you for your service." They all say
The Machine shuts down
