This track was composed and recorded with my first eurorack modular setup mid 2014. I was invited for one of the legendary Noodlebar sessions at Roodkapje Rotterdam to play live. This recording is the final rehearsal in the studio a few days before. I do not recall all the modules used, but to name a few that are for certain: Mutable Instruments Braids, Makenoise Maths, MFB Osc03, Qu-Bit Nebulae, Koma SVF, Doepfer SEM filter, Doepfer A-149 1/2, Tiptop Z4000, Circuit Abbey G8, Intellijel Dixie II and uVCA-II, Cylonic Cyclebox. In addition, a Roland SH-101 controlled by the Elektron Analog Four (used for pads) cv/gates were used. And the drums come from a Simmons SDS-V in which I built in a MFB seq01 sequencer to sequence it and link to the modular system.

E-Troit was a techno music festival held in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. It served as a tribute to Detroit, a city many people there feel connected to musically. To underline this connection, the organizer Dommelvallei put together a great line-up for the day! The first edition took place on August 23rd, 2008 at the city hall square during the day. But after that the party was not over yet: a similar themed after party was held at the nearby Club Rembrandt. I was so lucky to be present and perform at the after party. After many years, I found the live set recording that was made of my show. It was rechecked and now available for listening and download. Although it may not be the best quality ever, it brought back many memories. At the time I was using Ableton Live only and the set contains many tracks released around that time and many older works as well.

In 2006 Dutch Composer Jacob ter Veldhuis created a song for the Tromp festival, a yearly music celebration that involves percussion. the Barracuda song revolves around the Marimba as centralised instrument and tells a story over 16 minutes long. Terrace remixed his composition using synthesised marimba, percussion, drums, basslines, pads and melodies and it was played at the dance night accompanying this festival amongst other remixes, lights, a moving dance floor and surround sound system. Electronic music wizard Stefan Robbers worked live from the MCO building in Hilversum, NL, on the night of 17-1-2006 from 20.00-0.00 in a 4 hour live broadcast by satellite uplink from 4 internet and 2 satellite live streams, playing an experimental DJ set combining harmonies and impossibilities. The resulting mix was streamed live via Café Sonore, on VPRO radio and was audible in various countries through the satellite uplink. The 1 Hour remix of this project was broadcast 2 weeks later and is now available as a free download  via our soundcloud page, and can be streamed and listened to here.

Stefan Robbers has earned considerable respect, both in the Netherlands and abroad, as one of the most versatile and productive musicians in the field of electronic dance music. His techno productions appeared under the names REC (Djax-upbeats) and Con Man (P.i.a.s.), while more melodic techno music was released under the aliases Terrace (Djax, Eevo Lute) and Florence. He also records experimental music under the name Sierra Romeo.

Throughout the years, Stefan has carefully spread out his creativity over a number of musical alter egos. He saved his purest, most minimal productions for REC and Con Man, while the more accessible, melodic and melancholic techno was released under the Terrace name. Experiments with the Roland TB303 bass synthesizer found their place in the live shows and jam sessions of the Acid Junkies, together with Harold de Kinderen. With the Acid Junkies, Stefan played parties and festivals all over the world.

And since 1992 he has operated Eevo Lute Muzique, a record company specializing in abstract and modern electronic music in its broadest form. The label has brought forth over 40 releases during recent years. After a refreshing pause in the period 1998 to 2001 the label resumed its activities last year, with renewed energy and lots of good music on the way! EevoNext is a fully digital web label emerging from the fundaments of Eevo Lute Muzique, one of the most influential techno labels from the Netherlands. Started in November 2006, it brings a bi-monthly release of a featured artist as a high quality download with emphasis on quality and playability. Robbersï¿½?? other projects include a concert with a 30-piece symphony orchestra in Jyvaskyla (Finland), a multimedia live show accompanied by video projections for the Tokyo based arts collective Ambient Web, Dutch National VPRO Televisionsï¿½?? Moondive project and collaboration with a renowned Dutch theatre company for live music & acting performances.

To spread the word about his label and music, Stefan has developed an inspiring solo live set that he brings under his techno-alias Terrace. This varied musical performance kicks off in a melodic vein and gradually evolves into a total electronic dance music experience. The live set brings the audience an hour of energetic, funky electronic music: From Detroit to Eindhoven with a smileï¿½?ï¿½
