Retro Set @ Elements Festival, 2021

This Zenonesque episode is all about SLIP HYPNOTIC who is presenting his new album 'Yazon' through this live set. Producing Electronic Psychedelic Music, in every form he could possibly think of, from Psy-Techno to Dark Progressive with a taste for careful melodic grooves and organic self-recorded sounds, his musical debut goes all the way back to 1997 with traditional classical music studies with the silver flute and the piano, and later on, the guitar, the drums and the clarinet, sounds that are very present in his sound today. In 2013 he discovered the psychedelic scene in Australia and then started the projects Sleepy Faun (Psychedelic Pop) and Flo Mc Adam (Ambient). Inspired by his fellow producers around him he finally created Slip Hypnotic in 2018.  Through this project he creates heavy music influenced by colorful melodies and rich harmonies, spiced with acoustic instruments, minimal and wonky sounds that will take you on a journey.

A very special Terrafractyl set made especially for Questival, filled with dwarfs, elves, dragons, Bards, swordplay, Rings of power even a little bit of Hypnagog every now and again (this is not actually the exact questival set, but something very close to it ;) )  After many people telling me over the years that my music was great background music for gaming, this was a bit of an attempt to represent a big epic fantasy quest through music and I relished the opportunity to try and remix some things...(!)
note: some bits of some new Unreleased terrafractyl tracks are in there, they have been trimmed to not give away too much, and are also in early draft form, so expect them to be v different on release!!

We're on our way to Ozora 2024 with RIKAM! This set contains tracks produced by artists from Rikam's label, Techsafari Records, and other artists he likes. Rikam's journey and contributions to the Canadian psychedelic trance scene are truly remarkable. Running the Techsafari Records label for a decade, he has since played a crucial role in shaping and promoting the electronic music scene, particularly in the Progressive Psytrance genre. His dedication spans over 30 years, demonstrating a deep and abiding passion for the art form. Running major events such as Eclipse Festival and others, DJ Rikam has been a driving force in creating spaces for artists to showcase their talent and for enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the psychedelic trance experience. His role as DJ, with a keen sense of musical selection and connection with festival-goers, positions him as a catalyst and unifier on the dance-floor. This ability to bring people together and connect through music speaks volumes about his understanding of the psychedelic trance community and the power of electronic music to create shared experiences. This festival welcomed me with its arms wide open and its music deep, dark and brutal. Exactly what I needed! Set in a beautiful location, nestled amongst the trees in the forests of Slovenia, with a solid production, amazing people and tunes that just go on for dayz! It was my pleasure to meet so many new faces, but also be reacquainted with so many old. Truly a magical time was had.

Closing Set @ Elements Festival 2020

Felix Fractal, aka Terrafractyl / Hypnagog was raised on a diet of classical music, opera and jazz. Trained as a Bassoon player, Felix worked professionally for several symphony orchestras before switching over to electronic music full time and becoming one of Australia's most prominent electronic musicians.
Since then, he has been weaving the threads of psytrance, jazz and classical music together, incorporating his love/addiction of piano and a slight obsession for building analog and digital synthesizers, and people have been absorbing the results at festivals and parties all across the globe for the past decade.
While also working on his other musical project Hypnagog, and creating both software and hardware synthesizers for use in his music, Since 2009, Felix has released 4 full length albums and one EP under the Terrafractyl moniker, most recently the album 'Squares within Squares’ on his own label Kinematic Records, as well as 50+ tracks on various compilations over the year
