This is a piece I wrote as an homage to those involved in the tragedy of the USS Indianapolis. Each section is a dedicated to a different aspect of the story.

This is my submission to the ‘Sputnik’ film score competition presented by the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition. I found this film to be extremely powerful and very poignant—-quite parallel to events that have occurred in our own history, some still in occurrence every day. Scoring music to this level of emotional depth is something I am truly passionate about, and I hope that this music and its message is portrayed in a way that does the film great justice.

Nevermind the Flames

This is a track I wrote for an upcoming short-short-film project (also by me). Will release the film along with it hopefully soon. I named the track after my Sophie because she sat next to me struggling with allergies, and some other health-related ailments really bad while I wrapped up the project.

ZERO

I wrote this soundtrack for a short film competition. Unfortunately, the film rights have been mis-managed and I can't share the film along with it.

The film it titled "Time" and describes the life of a watch maker; the ins and outs of his daily work and the focus and precision that it requires. I felt a very raw nostalgia while watching it, but I also felt it was almost dream like when you got into the innards (gears and complications) of the watch, so I chose to use an entirely string based ensemble: a string ensemble with 3 violin sections, a piano and a harp. I felt this kept a very intimate feel while drifting into dreamy like sequences. Thanks for listening!

I wore several hats for this one. 

From time to time I get shoot weddings, as my wife is a wedding photographer, so I got to play cinematographer on this romantic baroque themed wedding shoot at an incredible venue. I had been looking to write a piece with a harpsichord that I could describe as "beautifully tragic". I sincerely hope I accomplished that here as I am totally in love with the baroque period of classical music.
