Sounds That Work 30 by Terrence Parker

Sean Cormac is co-resident and founder of Forward DIsco. 

Forward Disco is a New York City-based event focusing on all forms of house music. Its roots trace back to a party in the back of a converted hair salon and over time lead to an opportunity to fill-in on a Saturday night at Cielo. That one-off quickly blossomed into a 5+ year, monthly-residency at the legendary Meatpacking home for quality music. In addition to Cielo, Forward Disco has hosted events at several other venues - places like Le Bain, The Panther Room and Good Room. Forward Disco's  regularly welcomed some of the premier djs in the industry. An abbreviated list of special guests includes: David Morales, Tony Humphries, Danny Krivit, Hector Romero, Honey Dijon, Franck Roger, Mr. V, Kevin Yost, Willie Graff, Jojo Flores, Phil Moffa, Hex Hector, Todd Terry, Jimpster, Fred Everything, Rissa Garcia... the list goes on and on. Other notable appearances include the Def Mix WMC Party, Benny Soto's 718 Sessions,  Christina Visca’s Birdcage, Carried Away with Roger Sanchez, Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival  as well as, Good For You’s "30 Years of House Music Tour with Jesse Saunders". DJ Times called their visit to Forward Disco a “proper celebration”.

In addition to his djing and production, Sean is an accomplished visual artist. Sean's designs have been featured on: Defected, Carl Caig's Planet E Communications, Def Mix, Rawsome Recordings, Sound Warrior, Rissa Garcia's Nightchild Records to name just a few.
