Ultimae proudly presents Connect.Ohm [ 9980 ] a collaborative album born of the musical encounter between composers Hidetoshi Koizumi aka Hybrid Leisureland and Alexandre Scheffer aka Cell respectively based in Tokyo and Paris. 

The composers discovered each other’s work through solo albums previously released on Ultimae, and on a brief meeting in Paris in 2011 decided to blend their worlds of sounds and textures. 
The outcome is subtle and emotive. 

The nine tracks released on [ 9980 ] compose a ballad in atmospheric realms where finely chiseled rhythms and fluid melodies are sustained by discreet downtempo grooves and deep drones. 
A pure delight for vast soundscapes audiophiles.

ILUMINA SCULPTURE - is an interactive light and sound sculpture powered by people’s collective heart energy. As the label celebrates its 10th release, Moon By Day continues to solidify its reputation as a platform for dreamy, downtempo electronica and acoustic beats. At its core, the label showcases music from the heart, inspired from all around the world, and the debut EP from Louis Tobin aka MOONTIDE continues to embody this philosophy. As the EP title suggests, the Melbourne-based producer takes us on a journey of his 27th year, not only emotionally but also physically, with the tracks recorded between Central America and Australia’s Mornington Peninsula. Varied, yet coherent, Tobin explores the boundaries of downtempo electronica with this milestone release for the label.

Opening the EP is the sexy, yet emotive Amore, with its slinky, seductive pace and layers of string samples. With melancholy chords and cinematic crescendos, Broken is a high-energy, breakbeat- influenced cut, conveying a range of complex emotions. Lolite is both beautiful and driving with its heartbeat-esque rhythm and dramatic vocal samples. Both meditative and slightly eerie, The Only Wanderers is somewhat of a nod to the producer’s spirituality with its pulsating percussion and layered instrument samples from the didgeridoo through to the sitar.

In search of silence, ambient artist Hipnotic Earth has found a calling in ephemeral improvisational meditations that appear out of the stillness, linger a while, and then vanish from whence they came.
Extended Savasana is an inviting new album from the multi-instrumentalist, who has collected seven sonic journeys meant to guide the listener inward, to a place of deep stillness and even sleep. Hipnotic Earth's Harbin Hot Springs home and studio were destroyed by wildfire, but thankfully recordings of those very springs are a unifying feature of this collection. During the Wanderlust Festival in Oahu 2019, Amani was invited to play for 3 relaxing yoga classes taught by Amanda Giacomini. These 3 sets are each different as they were following the flow of the class in the moment and the stories that Amanda weaves into her classes. The sets feature a blend of music from the Liquid Bloom and Desert Dwellers catalog, as well as a few gems from Shamans Dream, Dead Can Dance, Ishq, Shantala, and a few other yoga inspired artists.

Amanda is a dedicated Yogini with over 20 years of practice and fifteen years of teaching. She teaches weekly classes other studio which she co-founded in 2001 with MC YOGI, Point Reyes Yoga in Point Reyes, California (www.10000buddhas.com)

The author of Kyoto is Vitalii Zenkov, an electronic composer from Russia. For more than 15 years, he has been producing high-quality music in chill-out, trance, downtempo, ambient.
