Written by Seamus Egan and Mick McAuley, this song imagines what a newly arrived immigrant to Butte, Montana might have felt facing his or her first Christmas in foreign land far from the warm embrace of family and friends. 


Home For Christmas Day

We recorded this song in hotel rooms and backstage areas while on tour in America in the winter of 2014. It features Noriana Kennedy on vocals and Mari Nakamura on harmony vocals. Mari is a wonderful singer from Japan which is where she recorded her parts. It was mixed by John Anthony in Philadelphia. A truly international effort!  We hope you enjoy it. Solas
