On 7 April 2018, the city of Douma, Syria, was targeted by two chemical weapons attacks. At that time, the city and its surrounding areas had been under siege by the Syrian military since 2013. At least 70 people died in the attacks, according to reports.

Two distinctive yellow canisters, similar to those previously linked to chlorine gas attacks across Syria, were found following the strikes: one on a rooftop balcony near to Al Shuhada square, and the other in a bedroom at an unknown location in the city.

After the stoppage we have suffered due to the current problem in the supply of physical discs, we have decided to release this compilation in digital format to overcome the material obstacles that hinder the release of music.
After three years of starting our journey as a label, we take stock of what we have learned and where we want to be. Under The Stone is the result of a conscious awareness of the spectacularized and speculative electronic music that prevails today.A conscious and proud stance regarding the consumerist concepts of macro festivals and selfies that distort the idea of collective culture. The title refers to the double movement involved in lifting a stone. On the one hand, discovering the extraordinary ecosystem that is hidden underneath, and on the other, the act of throwing away the stone that was keeping it crushed.
This album brings together a few artists, some to be discovered and others more established, but who share a common denominator, powerful sound and a challenge to established consumption clichés. We want to thank all the artists who are part of the compilation for giving shape and meaning to the idea that orbits this release.

This release is an international compilation of 10 tracks produced exclusively by women from various horizons. 
I Am an Iranian Woman was produced by Nour Kara and Juliette Capel. Nour Kara, Iranian producer of electronic music, composes and performs live with analog and digital machines with dual nationality and with glitches, industrial, dark-wave, post-punk, EBM influences. 
In this project her electronic music meets the multi-instrumentalist Juliette Capel and her cello. Juliette Capel offers in this project a non-classical interpretation of the cello whose sounds are modulated by effects. The result is a crossover between industrial and organic sounds, with a powerful atmosphere.
