Rezerection The Awakening of 1995 - Scott Brown

This is for the regulars who started coming to Club 53 from the beginning and danced thier arses off in the back room when it all began ❤️🎶🎧🎵

So back in 1994 when Club 53 opened its doors, those that know me will remember that I was the resident DJ in the back room. The back room was where all the dance music lovers and club heads would hang out. 

The style of music I played in there was a collaboration of what today you’d call ‘Classic house tracks’, ‘Italian house’, ‘Old skool’, ‘Rave choons’ and a good half an hour of ‘Happy hardcore’ to finish off which kept the crowds coming back every Saturday night.

For this new set of mini mashup mixes entitled “Club 53 - The Back Room Sessions (Where it began)”, I’m taking it back to the early days of the back room in Club 53, where “Live, Love, Keep Smiling, Keep Dancing, Be Happy” adorned the mirrors over the bar, the choons were all 1990’s bangers, and everyone knew everyone.

For volume 1 I’m taking it straight back to the classics.

I hope this mini mash up brings back some great memories of the nights in the ‘Back room’ for you 😊
