Dj Oj wilson bios & history 

Spinning , enjoying and moving to dance music for several decades  , my love for soulful and funky music began during the jazz funk and disco era . Attending all the great London night club of 70s during my youth. Thursday nights At Ronny Scott’s , Munkberrys Jermyn St , Crackers , room at the top, Lyceum  , Hammersmith Pally ,  Chelsea & West Ken birds nest to name but a few . Inspired by artist Mfsb band sala soul,brass construction, Chic , AshFord & Simpson , Sister sledge Grover Washington Jr Stevie Wonder , Donner Summer , Candi Stanton , and many more , . Fashion played a big part of the sense , Browns , Howie Fulham road , Jospeh the Kings Road . 
Hanging out in the great record shop of the day bluebird Edgware road , soho & listening to the likes of , Trevor Shakes , Tony Blackburn, Robbie Vincent 
The scene found its life again in the 90s with the on set of the super club and  electronic music , House and the 12 in , i then travelled the world to soak up the vibe that was sweeping the world the famed Paradise Garage , MOS , Zanzibar club , The sound factory New York , Amsterdam super-club and of course Ibiza . Partying to the Dj greats Knuckles,  Vasquez , Joey Negro . The  passion for the music great Dj’s 🎧 the vibe inspired me to developing my own party night and the birth of Proud Production , nine lives and 5 year residency at Motion in central London big thank you to the likes of Dj Quae , Dj freedom , Fitzroy the buss boy ,Dj Dean Baker , the two Chris and , promotors and partner , Elaine , Leone and many more. This is the journey so far , so look out for my own music productions and Dj nights

Dj Oj Wilson has been spinning music for some 20 years spanning many jouraes from 60s soul, RnB , disco , soul , jazz funk , funk and house music . Creating an amazing party atmosphere in club venues and private parties .

Dj oj Wilson’s club work has been all around the country including London , Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield and the Midlands . He has also played aboard Barcelona,Ibiza , New York and Italy
