Morning soundscape with Whooper Swans

L’Alouette lulu (Lullula arborea) survole la prairie pendant qu’en lisière de bois se déroule une féroce bataille de chant entre Coucou gris (Cuculus canorus). 

The Woodlark (Lullula arborea) flies over the meadow while on the edge of the wood Common Cuckoos (Cuculus canorus) engage in a fierce singing battle.

La nuit tombe et les premières étoiles apparaissent. L’Engoulevent d’Europe (Caprimulgus europaeus) prend le relais des derniers chanteurs diurnes et les aboiements d’un Chevreuil (Capreolus capreolus) résonnent dans la forêt.

Night falls and the first stars appear. The European Nightjar (Caprimulgus europaeus) takes over from the last daytime singers and the barking of a Roe Deer (Capreolus capreolus) echoes through the forest.

This is a recording of a black throated diver calling on a lake in central Sweden. It was recorded with my MKH 30/ MKH 40 M/S rig.
