Scottish Singer-Song Writer, Terry Mac & The Order/Lotus Crush/ Ex-Driveblind. Terry McDermott arrived in the US from Aberdeen Scotland in 2003, with Driveblind, signing to A&M Records with label president Ron Fair. Fair moved to Geffen Records taking Driveblind with him. The Scottish six-piece released on Geffen in 2006. After Driveblind disbanded, McDermott formed Lotus Crush with friend Peter Klett, founding and former member of Candlebox. Lotus Crush released "Half Light Morning" in 2011. Terry McDermott & The Bonfires released "Palmetto Heights EP" through Fat Hippy Records in June 2013, touring the UK that summer followed by single and video "Hi Stepping", released Jan 2014. Lotus Crush returned with "Rabbit Hole" released in the US in 2015. McDermott and the band have enjoyed extensive touring throughout the US and Europe and will release "Rabbit Hole Deluxe" in the UK and Europe in 2017. Solo single 'Lost Again' arrives September 2016. McDermott began work on ‘Terry Mac & The Order’ in 2019. A project/band with fellow New Orleans based musicians Georgi Petrov (Bulgarian jazz virtuoso) and Dave Shirley (drummer for Sweet Crude).
