Top notch production as usual, an incredible knack for finetuning and an eagle’s eye for detail. Unmistakably Basstripper! “Back To Normal’ is one of the those tunes that proves you really don’t need anything but a bassline to run things, and once, someday, when we get back to normal, it’ll be great to hear this one out in the dance. “Lightspeed”, then, proves how much this man is a master at creating melodies with random sounds, just piecing bits together till everything falls into place. As one of those producers your favorite dj always keeps an eye out for, Basstripper proves, once again, why he’s ahead of the pack.

Nothing brings us more joy at the Kingdom HQ than when we get to work closely with one of our own residents on a release that showcases every single reason that we hold them so close to the label, and ERRORs Thunder EP is no exception.

This body of work is one of our proudest yet, every time we get a track through from ERROR we jump to the ceiling with joy as we just know its gonna be 100% raw, wonky and as true to himself as always. ERROR is without a doubt one of the most unique producers in the entire jump up scene, constantly pushing the boundaries of his sound design to see how weird and sinister he can make his tracks, and he never fails to outdo himself.

This 4 track EP draws for every single aspect of this, we have the title track "Thunder" which involves a haunting female vocal and a ground shaking drop to set the pace of the release perfectly, "Lights Out" has been doing the round for months, with a dark wobbly drop capable of blowing all the lights in your studio and a switch wet enough to call for an instant wheel up in the dance. "Hobnob" is the perfect balance of his signature 50/50 melodic/grott side, which we have seen on previous releases from him on the label, and closing off with "Rudeboy" with good friend Yuki - which draws for a Looney esque drop straight after one of the most iconic samples known to the scene.

We are SO proud to present you with this unique body of work and we just know you're gonna love it.

Upgrade’s return to Serial Killaz is like a long lost friend coming back for one last bonkers session. Whatever this guy does simply oozes quality but not the glossy, hand buffed type you may be thinking, no way mate, not in a million years. Upgrade’s production is simply a combination of a raw, no fucks given attitude and years of doing whatever he wants and quite simply - it works. One of the many reasons he’s always welcome at our door.

‘Base’ has already had an exclusive via UKF and caused countless posts of upset regarding the spelling of everyone's favourite frequency. Simply put, if you like a double bass and a ton of heavy breakbeats to knock your block off - this one you. ‘Function’ harks back to Upgrade’s jungle roots with a hard slap of trademark Serial Killaz. A tune no doubt made with the label in mind.

The EP title track ‘First Request’ changes direction, flips the script and does a 360 headspin. Muddy bass, hints of classic beats and some epic percussion makes this a go to intro tune. Listen carefully and you might even get a taste of some Bristol influence here.

Slicing up the end, Upgrade comes with ‘Gangbeasts’ alongside Newcastle donny Scudd. Engage the rebels, stick your head down, embrace the haze and get down to this. Darkside business.
