you chart the skies

I had a good friend randomly invite me to a jam session in the mountains.
Little did we know, how hard the location would be to find.
After driving up and down the mountain, catching glimpses of a doe & fox, I had to tell my friend, "...we're up here, let's just take a moment to take in the stars. Turn off your car, turn off the lights." And there, we sunk into the garden of stars above. Once we were done, on our drive down, we were lucky to catch 3 guys carrying a black box in the dark. Scary as that could have been, I knew, those are boxes were for speakers! Surely, they were there for that party. And they walked away. And we were in the dark. Thinking, oh snap, we should've followed them. So, I don't know if you've seen Pretty Little Liars & know who A is. . .but we were startled to find Ian Harding tapping on our window; straight out of the dark, flashlight in our face. The terror! Getting the directions from him, we came upon a dark secluded area where they had just begun setting up the lights. Quickly as the lights and power generator came on, I caught glimpses of the snare rim, a mic stand, a dj table, bass amps. Soon enough, there was shredding & the fog machine in the lights they brought was ethereal. 

This song is the inspiration from that night for whatever I was feeling. The soundscapes, the words, the click clocking. Hope you like it (:
