“Inkel Stories” represents Boukas’ latest series, deriving its name from his acquisition of new equipment, including a 4-track cassette deck and an Inkel mixer. The distinctive characteristics of this mixer, featuring an inherently gritty sound along with a built-in delay effect, are perceptible throughout the record, notably on elements like snare drums. Boukas consistently crafts music that mirrors life’s various scenarios, often leaning into a monochromatic musical palette that invites listeners to infuse their own colors, a sentiment mirrored in the album covers.

Photographed by Boukas using an Yashica FX-3 Delta 3000 film, the cover images encapsulate the locales and moments that kindled inspiration for the tracks.
