Tesla Boy is a Russian synthpop/new wave band created in 2008 by audio producer and musician Anton Sevidov. The band consists of four members; Sevidov, Leo Zatagin, Stas "Pioneerball" Astakhov, and Mike Studnitsyn.

Media Blackout resident and beach house king, Medsound returns with his latest smash ‘I Am Not Afraid’ featuring the deliciously voice of the Yota who makes her debut on the label. The Barcelona born enigmatic multitalented Medsound has been a regular in many top artist playlists, constantly showcasing his huge originality and versatility without ever disappointing. Swedish born and Paris based Yota needs no further introduction, world-famous for her beautiful voice and works with the who is who of the nu disco and house scene. French master of the cool beat ‚Douze’ is another making his debut on Media Blackout with his incredible rendition of „I Am Not Afraid“. Douze's affair with sound "through heart, hands and computer tools" has led to a raft of successful releases and remixes, and this is no exception. Part deep house, part driving disco, his „Gonna Hide Dub“ mix of ‘I Am Not Afraid’ is a ode to house music that creates a mood that’s perfect for any dance-floor.

The second remix comes from none other than London based sound maestro Le Flex, who to people in the known is a true master oft he craft. He drops a stunning remix of ‘I Am Not Afraid; a modern beach house jam with all the right elements. The bouncy bass and great synth arrangements create a sexy, provocative atmosphere while Yota's voice make words settle in truly magical fashion, creating a warm felt atmosphere that creates special memories every time you listen to it.

English wunderkind LeSonic, famed for his body moving beats and immense production skills, as well as work with Dirty Vegas, Vanilla Ace and Matvey Emerson delivers a remix that dives into more upbeat territory with lots of euphoric vibes. The luscious use of the vocals, bass stabs and driving drums make for an irresistible rhythm while the clever chords round off these fantastic interpretations.

Having released tantalizing previews such as '1991', an infectiously optimistic groove, Tesla Boy takes their previous albums' 80’s inspired synth sounds to even further heights with the new LP. Second single 'M.C.H.T.E.' is a bouncy and percussion heavy track with rhythmic, funky bass lines and synths that flicker across the surface. 'Broken Doll' sees the band team up with London crooner Tyson to create a dark, full-bodied and sensual track. As the chorus of the track would suggest, 'Broken Doll' is an invitation to the dance floor, with Tyson's vocals positively electrifying as he asks, "Do you want to dance?"
