@taos is a Belgian producer who started his journey into drum and bass and jungle back in 2005 when raves were seemingly an everyday experience. After exploring jungle, breakcore, dubstep and hardcore, alongside neurofunk and darkstep for years, his releases are today focused on the deeper side of drum and bass with a taste of emotional and aggressive elements within.
@instinkt-dnb started mixing Drum & Bass / Jungle some years ago (1996). Whilst interacting with  scene and music, his knowledge also grew and he started to re-define his basic principles of DJ-sets aswell as he developed an unique approach of consistency, constancy and upward build-up of sets.
Besides deejaying Drum & Bass, he started making his own music (2005) and has put out quite a number of vinyl singles and digital releases. Beside this he’s running his own imprint "T3K Recordings" and organized club-events in the Mannheim / Heidelberg area in Germany

Their joint EP contains two dreamy tunes. "Just" and "Stuck" , fitting to the current situation. Stuck" is a rolling piece with some techy finesse and straight drums, but again it has a very dreamy overall atmosphere due to the supporting spheres.

Having firmly proven himself as one of the drum and bass scene’s most exciting new names, Argentinian junglist Yatuza makes for an exciting new addition to the Murky DIgital roster with the release of his new EP, Modern Science.

Hailing from his country’s bustling capital of Buenos Aires, Yatuza has drummed up a loyal following in recent months, bagging spots on Liondub, Grid Recordings and Citrus Recordings among other labels and earning coveted endorsements from the likes of Noisia and Data Transmission. Plus, with collaborations alongside titans of the scene including inimitable Welsh emcee Mr. Traumatik and Pick The Lock boss Nick The Lot already out in the universe, fans have been watching with bated breath to see what’s next for this emerging talent.

The answer? An exceptional six-track EP. Title track “Modern Science” is a masterclass in minimalism, its murmuring groove undergoing a number of exciting twists and turns at any given moment. Next up is “Comosea”, a distinctly percussive weapon which sees Souldier come on board to contribute to the track’s snaking rhythms and distorted sonics. “Seeing Things” ups the ante, its throbbing leads and reedy, syncopated basslines making it one of his heaviest concoctions to date.

The second half of Modern Science is just as gripping, with “Other Realm” built upon resonant sub-bass, slinking reeses and disquieting music box melodies and garnished with unconventional percussion. “Rolloz” finds him reuniting with Bogotá’s Asura (Dispatch, Onyx Recordings, Engage Audio) for the first time since their Christmas freebie “Stochasticz”, with the pair here opting for a seismic, juddering arrangement oriented around staccato stabs. Yatuza bows out with the solo number “Dark Wax”, a heady, ambient piece owing to old-school rave culture which nonetheless manages to pack a punch.

The Modern Science EP is available exclusively via Juno Download and Spotify from 3 June, landing on all stores the following week on 10 June 2021.

[Premiere] Linear - Calling (Colossus Remix) (Detached Audio)

After five years of planning, writing, and refining their sound, London-based production duo Kolectiv are set to release their long-awaited debut drum & bass album, Circadian Rhythms.

The project began in the aftermath of the pandemic, when the pair started setting aside tracks that captured the spirit of a night out at a drum & bass event. Their vision was clear: to create an album that reflects the variety, energy, and progression of a rave – from the first beats that pull you into the closing sounds that carry you home.

“Going out to drum & bass nights, you’d hear so many different flavours across six or seven hours. We wanted the album to follow that same arc – like a circadian rhythm, a natural flow of time, but in this case the cycle of a rave,” Kolectiv explain.

To achieve this, the duo placed a strong emphasis on originality and sound design. Most of the album was built from scratch using their own recorded samples, crafted through sessions with keys, drums, and guitars, and only dipping into external sources when absolutely necessary. Vocal collaborations from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika and Kerry Donnelly add unique flavour to the project, while carefully placed interludes tie the project together as a complete listening experience.

“This isn’t just a collection of tracks. We wanted it to be a journey – a cradle-to-grave kind of experience – with highs, lows, and moments to breathe.”

The title Circadian Rhythms captures that intention perfectly: an audio diary of a night spent immersed in drum & bass culture, told through Kolectiv’s trademark blend of technical precision and emotional depth.

The project also coincided with a complete studio overhaul, giving Kolectiv a fresh environment to finalize and mix down the record with a renewed sense of clarity and focus.

With Circadian Rhythms, Kolectiv deliver more than an album – they present a story, an atmosphere, and a tribute to the music and culture that shaped them.
