Violent Cuts is back at Parallel Depth with his signature filth. 

Two years after ‘Embolism EP’ the andalusian leaves us with a two track single featuring ‘Mental Lash’ and a VIP version of ‘Embolism’. 

Much water has flowed since then for this young artist, for example, some releases on labels like Fuck About!, Black Monsta or the freebie platform Talayotik Recordings. For the label it’s been more than 16 references if we add both nationals and internationals artists in the catalog.

Returning to Dispatch Recordings after a 16-year break is Atlantic Connection, whose seminal tune 'Situations' first made an outing in 2006 as part of DIS021. This forward-thinking, liquid gem quickly became a firm favourite, with remixes from Stress Level & Ant TC1 in 2007 and Zero T in 2009 firmly cementing its part in Dispatch history.

'The Feels EP' began life in April 2019 with the track 'Over It',  kicking off Kolectiv's return to Dispatch. The track marks a moment in their production where they were able to combine musicality and tech funk in a way they had always imagined. 

Filled with a new drive and artistic focus the duo continued this energy with a session alongside HLZ in his London studio in the same year. This gave birth to 'Iron Tech' - on a beautiful summer's day, true to dnb form, they wrote a typically dark techy number. 

Further inspired by the session at HLZ’s, Kolectiv went back to their studio in the following weeks and started writing more music. Another collaborative session with Wreckless saw them smash out the most aggressive track on the EP, 'Stop & Search.'  They knew they had created the magic they wanted, when the track was played at a sit-down rave in Brighton and Threshold jumped out of his seat and ran to reload the track mid mix. 

'The Feels' was born out of a 130bpm project, increased in tempo and with a new moodier vibe the track took on a new life. With the addition of an emotional lead riff and atmospheric pads, 'The Feels' found its name due to the emotion the intro evokes.

A very welcome return to the label from the Kolectiv duo, this EP demonstrates their remarkable talent.

Completing his epic trilogy of full-length albums, NC-17’s 'Most Violent Year Album Part 3' represents some of this talented producer’s best work to date. Written during the most intense part of the global pandemic, when distrust and paranoia ran rife, society as a whole began to rebel against restrictive measures.

The final act in the series is like the business end of a Louisville Slugger. An album jabbing with heavy tracks and wide soundscapes. Most Violent Year 3 is not just a concept album, but a strong representation of the time in which it was made. A true product of its time.

NC-17 channelled this amplified frustration into his studio practice, the mood producing some of the most intense and dark music from the album series. Heavily influenced by exploitation cinema & late 90s Drum and Bass. NC-17 fuses both elements delivering a unique & high-octane ride to end the series.

Alongside his stunning solo productions, Part 3 includes outstanding collaborations with Exile, John Rolodex, Logam, Philth and Kumarachi. Dispatch is proud to present this incredible culmination of a remarkable body of work.

[A] Sublimit - Imagination:
NVR029 sees the return of the dynamic U.K DJ & Production duo Sublimit with their 3 track EP Vibrations. To commence proceedings Sublimit present their first track Imagination. This is one that gives away its full intentions from the moment the intro begins, with strong punchy drums & crisp highs, combined with spoken conspiracy vocal samples, before dropping into that all consuming rolling bass line & some pulsating synth work. A real dance floor steppa guaranteed to get anyone moving!

[B] Sublimit - Vibrations:
Second up is Vibrations with a deceptively subdued intro but leaving the listener in no doubt they are about to have their senses aroused. Dominating from the drop is the deep vibrating bass line & commanding sub bass, whilst also featuring reverbed vocal samples, abrupt drums & contrasting pads to finish this monumentally substantial track!

[C] Sublimit - Darkside:
The final creation and rounding of this release from this Production duo is Darkside. A heavy high energy Drum & Bass track featuring sharp drums, alarming sirens & sinister pads, alongside a trademark weighty Sublimit bass line & futuristic vocal samples to create an electrified atmosphere. A fitting finale to this purposeful sub shaking EP!

With Quarter To Quarter, Amsterdam-based record label The North Quarter delivers its first compilation album: a manifesto and its most ambitious project to date.

The 14 track project features prominent vocalists IAMDDB and Azekel, Bass Music legends Total Science and Break and all the core artists that have made Lenzman’s boutique label the breath of fresh air it is today.

The North Quarter is a collective of artists from around the globe, brought together through a shared love for the authentic. The imprint has become a household name in just a short space of time through ambitious and highly detailed artist projects. With Quarter to Quarter, a compilation of cutting edge Drum & Bass music, the label further solidifies its reputation and unique vision.

Never doing things the fast and easy way, the album was put together and nurtured by A&R and founder Lenzman over the course of 18 months.

Lenzman explains: “Way back when I first got into music, I wanted to share that magic with others. Today that same urge still endures within me. With this album I've tried to bring together a group of artists with whom I have shared values, who have never been brought together in this way, and create a timeless statement of intent."
