The Promised Land

This sad music I composed is about a journey to a dark mountain. It was inspired by Lord of the Rings. This track is very unusual in that it behaves like music from a movie soundtrack. Sudden changes in melody and instruments are common. This music is part 1 out of 4 of the Halls of the Mountain.

Scottish Isles

As the sun sets beyond the horizon, a throng of pixies flood the forest. Some dance in the moonlight, while others rest quietly on leaves and flowers. The pixies are prone to emotional swings and when a human steps into their domain, they react in various ways.


Moonlight Pixies

Isolated from the rest of the world on top of a high mountain sits a small medieval village. As the villagers go about their normal business in the valleys below, a fierce thunderstorm blows across the valley from nowhere, causing some to panic and try to flee back to their mountain village before the storm strikes. Others, however, are captivated by the storm, and continue to gaze at it as if stunned, not even moving any. What will happen to them? Will they make it back to their village?

This is my first work, five records of my voice and echo. I took an inspiration from Assassin's Creed II soundtrack by Jesper Kyd (num 10 - Tour of Venice) and the melody belongs only to him. I just resang that for me wonderful theme...

The Raven cried out
its voice echoed through the valley
for it had seen the past
and she lamented the future.

Haunted by what had happened,
forest crying rivers of tears
trees falling,
no one taking their place.

She cried out again,
would anyone hear,
the trees were quiet now,
there were so few of them left.

The Raven looked at the sight
bare land, turning to concrete.
Just where could she go,
forest were so few,
life faded from view.

I haven't edited the voice "traces", so it often sounds weird, it was all just one big improvisation with microphone and a song. Enjoy! And don't kill me too painfully :D

Hello, my name is Tessie. I'm about to take you on a magical journey through a mystical desert, an enchanted forest, a haunted castle and a seascape. I'm a Singer/Songwriter and Instrumentalist who is inspired by film scores of the classic fantasy movies, game music and my artwork. Growing up in various parts of the US with my military family, I discovered the power of imagination. My whole family is very creative. My mother is an amazing singer/songwriter that has played her music throughout my entire life and inspires me every day. When I was very young, I knew I was blessed with the gift of drawing and illustration. When my mother would take breaks while practicing her songs on the keyboard; I would sneak over and in time, I discovered that I had a love for writing instrumentals. This album is a compilation of my childhood fantasies infused with the romantic theme of my upcoming wedding. I really wanted to create a unique sound, comparable to the magic of “A Midsummer Night's Dream.” One can never be too old for a little magic and fairy tales can be real.
